But...but...it's got special reading lamps for front and rear passengers. And is a credit to him as the current owner.
The only interesting version was the original V8 ones. They buggered up the looks when they facelifted it.
There was never a Pre-FL v8...
Yes there was. Nearly bought one from Marshalls of Cambridge when Rover went bust. I think it was about half the original price.
No there wasn't. The V8 came out in 2004 after they'd already facelifted the 75.

We have a rug very similar to those in the rear footwell, acquired from the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.

This. V8s and long wheelbase all had that front end, which was introduced with the facelift

Opps slight mistake. I ment the MG ZT 260 actually. It was in the same showroom though.

Was going to suggest this as a possible confusion point for people.

How about this on Facebook Marketplace, a 2007 Astra (not a VXR despite looking like one) with a blown head gasket for £2k? Surely it’s only a £2k car if it’s in condition?

Not the best bit of marketing I've seen...but at least it honest! (honestly fk'ed and sat on the hard shoulder)

I quite like that approach! Perhaps they are hoping someone will buy it to save them the hassle of getting it recovered- perhaps the negotiation of a lift home to the seller might get a few quid off the asking price? scratchchin

A novel approach indeed to present a car bathing it a rainbow of it's own discharge.

I'm noticing more of these priced between £20k - £30k, anyone know if the value of this one is realistic? Great number plate!

I have one of these. They're getting scarce, the prices are rising. There seems to be a small amount of quite low mileage ones coming onto the market from Japan, which is drive on the left as the UK, apparently, they don't salt roads in winter, fuss over their European cars, and get hit with a very strict sort of MOT after 3 yrs, so often decide a replacement car is more practical. Thus their value of there is quite low and can be imported back to the uk economically.

Not quite as drastic as others on here- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202010064...

Worth about 50% of that price.

(I have one of these and was just wondering what the values were like now)

It is a smart example and it does look fabulous but what sellers like this one don’t understand is the jump to the newer model is big and the F10 is miles more refined and quiet. From the gearbox to the idrive to the performance.

Let’s not forget that it’s a diesel, nothing wrong with diesel cars, I love 3.0 BMW diesels but paying 8 grand for a 2007 one in the current climate is a terrible idea.

550i? Charge what you like, 530d? Max 5k

I don't think the price is that seriously overpriced. It likely would've sold already if it was a 535d. I think someone will pay that

The clock reminds me of a base spec MK4 Fiesta that was too poverty spec for a rev counter

If the hands glow green at night and it has an overly loud tick it'd be almost exactly like the one my grandma used to have by her bed.

I was thinking the same. Also says it’s got a year MOT but failed on 21/11 and hasn’t been retested yet.

Is the seller a bit simple?
