You’re all a bunch of knobs thinking you’re all merc experts. Cars like these are going up because they’re rare! Might look st in pictures but you when you seen them on the road I reckon all of you low life keyboard warriors look at them then look on eBay to buy one and you wait prices will be going up higher every 10 years. So enjoy ranting for another 10 years lol
laughlaugh

So in about 30 years prices will have caught up and you'll be in the right ball park.

Thanks for the laugh.

£25k for an 18 year old SLK200 that hasn't had an MOT in nearly 4 years.

Two excellent finds there Dotty!

Lunatic pricing based on the definitely* future classic 200-engined SLK.

Lot of work gone into that Astra. All of it st.

Not going to look at the ad for the Astra. No matter what price it is on for, it is overpriced.

Has to be the biggest disappointment in relation to hype vs reality of a car launch in the last 20 years.

When you can buy a manual NA V10 R8 for £50k I'd say that's about £135k too much.

Yes, they were pretty much universally praised by the media as far as I remember. I suppose its down to badge snobbery again, sadly. Personally I think the NSX would make a good daily, especially in an understated colour. You'd have proper supercar performance on tap but be able to park it anywhere as it's 'just a Honda'.

Are they even that much new? You could probably walk into a dealership and spec one to your own terms and get it cheaper than that! I am pretty sure you could get a heavy incentive on an NSX given how many they haven’t sold.

From everything I have read/watched, they are great cars but misunderstood by the market and too expensive for a ‘Honda’. Much like the original. Shame really as Honda could do with being rewarded for making something interesting.

Apparently (according to the seller) it is actual carbon fiber body panels, with blue weave. Do I believe it from the pictures? Probably not.

Thing with modified car ads is that I can understand the pricing, if the ad details and proves that work has been done and it has been done to a high standard. So if the person would show close ups and build process of a full carbon body, I would say at least money went into it. But with just a list and bad pictures, it just overpriced.

If that’s a full carbon body, dashboard, cam cover, fuse box cover....etc I’ll eat my own hair!

I imagine what he's done is lay a sheet of carbon cloth over the surface and stippled resin in. It looks atrocious from the poor pictures and is probably 100 times worse in real life.

Shabby W126 which looks "lived in" inside, has patchy alloys, wrong indicators, 170,000 on the clock and is at least 300% overpriced.

2,000 rpm idle with a warm engine and ABS warning light on the dash....
