Yup. Not been mot'd since 2018 either. I'll bet it's rustier than the Titanic.carlove said:
This California with a BO55 Plate at what looks like a backstreet dealer, which I think has been for sale for ages. Lots of pictures though, I like that.
It’s the third most expensive California on Autotrader, same price as this 3 year newer, (slightly) lower mileage later T model from a main dealer, admittedly it’s not as desirable a colour combination, but still.
I find red Ferraris completely undesirable, so even if they were identical in every way except colour, I would still go for the silver one. As it stands, you'd be nuts to go for the red one if you saw the ads side-by-side like that. It’s the third most expensive California on Autotrader, same price as this 3 year newer, (slightly) lower mileage later T model from a main dealer, admittedly it’s not as desirable a colour combination, but still.

To be honest I’ve always preferred non red Ferraris, I just thought red with creme interior was what buyers wanted.I like Ferraris in light blue, if I could afford one I’d be getting light blue (I can’t remember what the actual colours called)
ETA - this blue

Personally I’d be quite happy to daily that ...
In fact my go to fun car is from the same era
Another appearance by our friends at Bramley - forty grand for a C124, and it's not even the rare C36 AMG. This example is lovely but bonkers pricing.

"Oh I have one right now. It's Giallo Modena."
"You mean yellow?"
"Yes!"
"In what way is a yellow Ferrari inconspicuous?"
"Er, well... It's not red though."
I bought one in TDF Blue in the end.

I can only imagine the market for these are people who, presumably on a whim, decide they want an XYZ and can't be arsed to do any of the bottom feeding to find one the normal way. That intersection between "I want a not very interesting semi classic" and "I have so much money I don't really mind if it's 4x typical market value" is clearly big enough for a few dealers to make a living from it.https://www.bramley.com/carsales/details/Mercedes-...
I'd hope they replace every perishable part given what they charge, but I suspect it's mostly cosmetic "restoration".

BMW E21 316. According to the dealer it's supposed to be rust and rot free. You can see plenty of rust and rot in the pics though. It's also about five different colours. £12,500 The car registration does rather fit the vendor.

It's the arty 'car wash' photo that first made me smile, but then I saw the inexplicable choice of shots that really highlight the sketchy panel gaps. You could climb in the door without opening it and the bonnet appears to be following a contour that no neighbouring panel does... :shrug:https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1327258

ETA: Also includes my pet hate "very unique". There is no scale of 'unique' - it either is or it isn't. :explode:

Also, the driver's side door is a totally different colour from the wing or rear quarter.
Wouldn't £13k get you a nice 323i? A mate of mine bought an E21 316i for £550 about 10 years ago as the basis for a track car with an M20 2.5, and that had less rust than this one.

I owned one of these a couple of years ago, almost exactly the same spec, blue, mushroon leather, sports suspension etc. Mine must have been one of the last made bought from an old boy in Exmouth. Had 115k on it but in very nice condition and completely standard.I'd hope they replace every perishable part given what they charge, but I suspect it's mostly cosmetic "restoration".
Sold it for a realistic £6K. £10k tops but £40k? Insanity!

Its the generation of Mustang that few like , with high miles , and the undesirable engine...... And they want nearly 9 grand!
Probably cost less to import a far better condition V8 one!

Came VERY close to picking up a TDF 360 last year. I opted for being diagnosed with cancer instead. Ha ha Good news is I should be in a position to start shopping again later this year, so assuming the market hasn't moved too much, I will be looking out for TDF or one of the silvers. Black at a push.
