Got to be to many '0's on there.

Aside from the way it looks, this description says it all, "Category S Insurance Loss. Vehicle Structurally Damaged But Repairable-Insurer Decided Not to Repair"

I wouldn't bother repairing it either...
That is beyond words, looks awful

For anyone who remembers that acid yellow S-class with a price tag of £2.2million, looks like the guy has put it on his website

£1million to 'take it off the market'. Lunacy

If you don't remember... this is the link to it for sale on AT

Also mentioned on the 'real estate nightmares' thread is a property for sale that seems to be right outside of where that car is parked. Wonder if they're linked?

Would anyone here spend just short of £6,000 on a Peugeot 407 SW? biglaugh

I've had to quote the description here, it's just too funny.

There is only one way to truly describe this example and that is EXCEPTIONAL!! They really don't come any better than this! This IMMACULATE example has covered just 47,000 GENUINE MILES FROM NEW, and boasts a FULL MAIN DEALER SERVICE HISTORY, with no less than 9 services completed despite it's exceptionally low mileage!! Furthermore, it has an exemplary and completely unblemished MOT history, further demonstrating what a truly wonderful example this is!! PEUGEOT + 1 OWNER. Presented in gleaming 'Vin Rouge' it looks stunning and remains in 1st class condition throughout! It's quite clear this car has been cherished from new and had a meticulous owner! The exterior coachwork has a lovely deep glossy lustre to it, and is free from any dents, scratches or scuffs. Likewise the interior is immaculately clean, with no signs of wear, whatsoever, it really does need to be seen to be fully appreciated, it's genuinely like new. All four tyres are top quality, matching Michelin's. Powered by the superb 2.0 HDi engine, it's both ultra reliable and extremely economical! With just 47,000 miles covered, it's barely run in!! Being the 'SW' or Estate model, it goes without saying that it's very spacious and a very comfortable car to drive!! The engine is quiet and refined, extremely smooth and performs without fault. This wonderful example comes supplied HPi clear, 2 x remote keys, Full MAIN DEALER Service History along with a pre-delivery inspection and warranty for total piece of mind. Very RARE to find such a low mileage and perfectly maintained estate car, that has been kept in such wonderful condition. Without doubt, this is the very best available, viewing HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Edit: Sorry about that, messed up the formatting completely, somehow.

No doubt bought for peanuts off some poor misled individual, only wanting to downsize. That's almost worse than any of the 1990s Escort adverts as it's still relatively modern, there are still plenty about and absolutely no one is yearning for a 407 SW!

As soon as an ad mentions things like “coachwork”, “motor vehicle” or refers to the previous owner as “Mr/Mrs/Vicar/Doctor X” you know it’s going to be hyped up, overpriced bks… biggrin

I wish I could check the MOT history to be honest, as "unblemished" you can almost guarantee it has had an advisory at some point.

It's not a 540, it's not a manual and it's not a Champagne car. It's really a low to mid £3k car

I'd say more c£4k'ish in this market; but absolutely no more than that...

£8k; for what?!

I'd want a seriously well looked after, maintained and rust free Jap import at that price!

Surely the gash interior should decrease the value? Never know might have 6k on the clock but I doubt it.
