Does a 14 year old Jaguar with 60k miles qualify as seriously overpriced at £29,950?

A Ltd Edition and only 50 RHD produced... It wouldn't suprise me if it achieved that price....

THIS on the other hand... £10K X-Type from the same dealer:

https://www.jagwestlondon.co.uk/vehicle-details.ph...

Some of their prices don't seem too bad, others are nuts.

Quite possibly a Jap import. There's quite a few XJRs from Jap land around.

It just manages to not only lengthen the name but also make it sound a bit racist (which I'm not suggesting was your intention!)

Bet that's way rustier in the usual places than the advert suggests ...

I sold a manual one of those with no insurance markers and decent bodywork (rusty underneath mind) a few years ago and was pleased with the £400 I got! I'd only paid £800 for it 6 years previously mind hehe

That advert suggests (somewhat optimistically) that I might be sitting on a goldmine if I'd kept hold of it!

I love this advert from Dan. Dan starts off his advert with this compelling headline " WOW AMAZING DEAL" which grabbed my attention immediately because obviously I was onto something ...well... AMAZING!!!

And then to follow it up with this irresistible punch sales pitch " JUST ARRIVED FROM THE INSURANCE CO DAMAGED/SALVAGE" enough to get my juices going. But Dan has more!

"Only 4 former owners, yes only 4 former owners" . not exactly a prized one owner car is it Dan, I mean, 4 or 5 or whatever hardly makes a difference to this rusty damaged very ordinary old car.

But Dan, master salesman that he is, shoots back, "NO STUPID OFFERS" and even worse , if you make a stupid offer he wont return your call . Yup you wont get a call from Dan if you make a stupid offer. How will you live, how will you survive.

The problem is Dan, that a stupid offer would be anywhere near your asking price. So buyers are caught in a catch 22. And also no one wants to run the risk of not getting a call back from you Dan.

The world needs you Dan. Dan the Man.

Four grand for a crashed E30 with the wrong engine and gearbox ?

"Minimal Damage", hmm, looks like it needs a NS Rear quarter and probably putting on a jig before it would actually fit, new bumper, rear valance, rear cluster and then paint, may as well respray it as it isnt ever going to match based on the fading going on and mismatched front wing.

Could possibly pull the dents out and fill it but it loos like its pushed it down.

Can get a straight one for four grand, that needs as much again spending, seems E30s have a lot of optimistic sellers but I dont think they are that sought after unless they are a 325i Sport or M3.
