3 things you Love & Hate about your car..
Discussion
2010 Ford Mondeo Titanium X Sport
Like:
1. It goes well (remapped 2.0 turbo petrol) and the dual clutch gearbox is very intuitive and fun to use in manual mode
2. It's very well equipped (Bi-xenons, front and rear parking sensors, nav with bluetooth/USB, electric heated and cooled seats with driver's memory, keyless entry and start, etc
3. It drives very well if you're on an NSL b-road, and is very comfortable if you're sitting in traffic driving to work
Dislike:
1. When you open the tailgate after it's been raining, water pours into the boot
2. It has the occasional "Ford build quality" moment
3. The driver's electric window controls are obscured by the door handle

I love:
1.The drive, so much mid range punch for a small car! Effortless overtaking. Can and have surprised many performance cars. Grips very well too.
2. The rarity, hardly ever see one!
3. The economy, 40mpg minimum, 60mpg on a run.
I hate:
1. It's a diesel
2. Sounds like a tractor
3. It's a diesel
Every thing you say, we get a bit more to gallon (East Yorkshire ) no hills . We call ours the the little tractor and we love it ! I love:

MR2 roadster
thing i love about my car.
1. Fun to drive
2. being mid engined car.
3. easy to work on
things i hate about my car
1. handbrakes = soooo bad, caliper sieze up, cable goes stretchy.
2. soft chassis due to lack oflack of the roof.
3. 6500rpm limit, this car should have 9000rpm in first place.
and many more.

VW CC
Love:
- the shape, it's a sexy looking car, IMO
- the interior, swank looking and very comfy seats make it a great cruiser
- the economy, easily does 53 mpg average
Hate:
- too much road noise especially at speed, for a 'luxury GT', it's just not refined enough
- crap stereo doesn't have enough oomph
- ruins tyres (cupping) and VW deny having any clue what's causing it

TVR Cerbera 4.5
Love:
Looks fantastic
Genuinely exciting to drive without being difficult
Makes me feel great
Hate:
Hard to get in and out
Cabin heater design is a bit naff
Seatbelts are a bugger from start to finish
Jag XFR-S
Love:
Wonderful dual personality
A riot to drive
Never seen another out and about
Hate:
Engine so torquey there's not much justification to thrash it
Too quiet - needs active exhausts like the F-Type
Passenger seatbelt buckle rattles against B-pillar when seat unoccuppied unless you turn it 180deg.

Westfield SEiW 2.0 Zetec
Good
1) Fastest accelerating car I've ever and will ever own.
2) I won't see another one on the road when ever I take it out.
3) The noise!
Bad
1) Can't get anything in the boot....it doesn't have one!
2) Can't go out in the pissing rain...although has a shower cap you're gonna get wet!
3) You go through rear tyres at a rate of knots because every roundabout is a sideways opportunity!

2002 Audi S8.
Like
The comfort - double glazed windows and excellent build quality means its so quiet and relaxing even at triple digits.
The rear blind - i thought it was just for showing off but does as awesome job of toning down modern xenon lights in the rear view. Also a very posh fu when sat in traffic.
Exclusivity - not many on the road, and not alot of people know what to think when they see the S8 badge on the rear. V8 petrol is many man points.
Hate
Turning circle - never was gonna be good with quattro but still.
Parking sensors - they pick up anything.
Noise - just deleted the backbox, it should be this way from the factory!!

MkV Golf Gti.
Love:
1.The way it trundles like a diesel under 2K and has riotous rort and character above 3500. Exits onto sliproads and country lanes in second and third gear are a joy.
2.The interior. Probably showing my poverty roots, but it really feels solid everywhere.
3.Strangely, the way it looks. I thought MKV's were a bit blobby when they came out but in this age of extra details and post-Bangle slashes everywhere I really like it. When I arrive back home after a jog I still find myself hitting the keyfob so I can see it "blink" at me. I'm sad I guess.
Dislikes:
1. Fuel economy. Really wish it could squeeze an extra ten MPG on the motorway. I don't mind poor MPG when I'm trundling to work or caning a B road, but when I have 400 miles of motorway I often find myself wishing I had a seventh gear.
2.Stereo. 2005 doesn't seem that long ago but I swear I don't have any CD's these days and the lack of bluetooth is a real killer on long journeys.
3.White worm on the alloys. Love the look of the one decent wheel I have left, but the diamond cut alloys really look shoddy on my car. And they make the ride crashy.

Likes:
1. Noise.. I love the 5 cylinder growl, especially with the Cobra exhaust fitted
2. Performance, particularly with the DS remap.
3. Looks and colour.. It's orange which just makes me smile
Hate:
1. Mpg.. Especially when used harder, drops to mid/low 20s
2. Colour.. It attracts idiots and boy racers like ticks on a dog
3. Drivers seat sits to high.. Needs to be lower

Agree on most of those. The handbrake on mine seems to have been replaced with a piece of warm stretchy blu-tak! The chassis is fine on-track, the odd bit of scuttle-shake on rough roads. Having the roof up helps a lot. Agree that the engine should have more poke; there's no discernible power-band, and coming from an S2000 I do wish it revved a bit higher. The 190 bhp VVTLi should have been an option. thing i love about my car.

E46 M3 (Manual, Carbon Black + red leather) Convertible
- The relentless sense of occasion as the RPM climbs to redline and the engine and exhaust comes alive, more prominent in the convertible for occupants.
- Boot space WITH the roof down.
- The length of time it takes for the oil to reach fun temperature!
- 22 seconds for the roof to go up or down. Sometimes I want to pop the hood down at the lights but as the world hates me, the lights ALWAYS change mid roof movement and I can't shift gear as I'm sitting there holding the roof button lol.*

Alpina B12 5.7 lwb 1997

Renault Clio 200 Cup (2011):
LIKE:
Pointy handing, tis' really great fun to punt down a twisty B Road
It looks great in its bright, flat blue paint
Great fun on the track, easy to drive and really predictable (originally bought as a second car but my lease Volvo has gone back and I'm in two minds as to what I should replace it with so the little Clio is my main far for the time being).
DISLIKE:
Everyone telling me it will inevitably break and cost me the earth, it's a low mileage example that's well looked after so fingers crossed (25,000 miles since new)
Cruising RPM on the motorway, it makes the longer journeys a bit tiresome due to the noise
I kerbed one of the alloys and I haven't had it fixed yet and it annoys me every time I see it

2014 BMW 535d
Love:
1. Wall of low down, instant, silent, silky grunt.
2. Ride/handling from hydraulic anti roll bars.
3. Magic GPS gearbox that does stuff before you get there.
Hate:
1. EPS.
2. Run flats.
3. Image (I could be another tragic rims/slammed/tints/aggressive BMW tw@t).
2012 Disco 4
Love:
1. Magic carpet ride from clever air suspension.
2. Smooth and useful twin turbo V6.
3. So much space.
Hate:
1. Wobbles a bit on undulating A roads.
2. Crap satnav.
3. Er, struggling now, the cruise buttons on the left of the steering wheel, not the right?

2014 Mercedes C63 AMG
Love
1. Noise - Cracks, Bangs and general thuggish-ness never gets old especially for a standard car
2. Looks - For a super saloon i think it its quite subtle yet enough to let others know it means business
3 - Seats - One of the most comfiest seats i've ever sat in.
Hate
1. Range - it needs a bigger tank!
2. Seats - Leather seems poor quality and inst showing good signs of wear
3. Stereotyped image - These are usuallydriven by clowns in certain parts of the country.
