Bear in mind that they could easily blow a coat of paint over it if stripped to a bare shell, so any new shells that appear for sale with a new paint job or in primer could be suspect, hopefully though they will give up and you will get it back, and catch the bds...

Had no idea where Trackspeed was and then rode past it earlier today, looks like a deserted building now. Really hope you get it back in one piece, looks stunning and it's clear a lot of work has gone into it!!

Weirdly I caught an episode of For the Love of Cars this week which was all about the Escort Mexico. Really want one now. Hope you get it back mate.

I think I was lucky enough to have this car into a workshop I used to work for a couple of years ago. Even when surrounded by mutipile millions of pounds worth of other cars it looked utterly stunning. I remember downing tools and going to have a look when I heard it fire up on the other side of the building!

You say it's unique? but in March 2015 edition of practical performance car in the readers cars section, there is a mexico mk1 with TVR engine. (Except it's green)

Anyway, I hope you get the ownership of the testicles of the person who took it one day.
