I dont understand why they have not used a tuned version of their turbo V8, to create V8 halo car at the top of the V8 RS family. It would distance it from the Lambo and fit the brand better.

Stage 1 remap is north of 400bhp, but you'd really want one of the Stage 3 GT BB kits, they're about 560bhp.

They're heavy things though, iron block and something like 185kg minus ancillaries. The older 5.2 V10 is only 220 without ancillaries!

Why do modern super cars seems to come with a sting in the tail?
It seems as if these companies know how to design a near perfect car, yet something always gets fked up. They are trying to be too clever, so add in too many things no one wants. Such as crap non linear steering. It is a shame these companies don't employ someone who could spot these blindingly obvious problems and eliminate them in the first round of meetings.

I have to laugh at the critics on here who slag off the Audi R8 while they drive about in their Fords or Vauxhalls

I'm pleased to see they've broken up the black side panel - never liked that much, but looking at those low profile wheels/tyres I'd never make it to the shops on our roads anyway - just as well since I couldn't afford to clean one, let alone buy one - and the running/servicing costs are eye-watering! But you have to hand it to them, it is an amazing piece of technology and so inappropriate as a modern day road vehicle (as if anyone really cares about that!)

Why are so many people surprised that a car made by a company shares some styling features with another car they make? It's also odd that people are exalting the previous model as some sort of style classic when ten years ago people were saying that it too looked like a TT. Strange thinking.
