Oh lord that’s bad
Shame really, how so few poor choices totally ruin a car.

Debadged with an original plate, or even the same plate without the butchering and it wouldn't look bad.

Looks like they’re trading in for Jag F Paces, every one I’ve seen recently seems to have a chavplate on it.

Seeing the Mustang in the background reminded me of a similar looking one in Marlow with the plate HOT 5EX, driven by a very blond scantily clad 'elder' woman.

I wonder what the plate really was, that's not a proper UK format plate. HOT 53X is on a Vespa, so it's not that, unless they've traded down a bit since you saw it.

I’ve tried countless different combinations and none show (HDT 53X, HDT 58X, HOT 58X and so on).

This reminds me of a car I used to see in Sandbach many years ago. I've no recollection of what car it was on, but even as a spotty teenager I thought it was corny....

The correct plate would be a '59' (not that it makes that much difference)

You're right there, hands up, got it wrong, should have said HOT 53X or 58X. There was no mistaking what it was meant to read, or the cringe worthy look of the driver.

It’s an iconic car, really doesn’t need a chavpate or 205 Dimma stylee headlights to improve it.
