Things have been going pretty well recently in terms of monetising the content that I am producing with each successive month through 2018 becoming a record breaker in pure RPM terms.
Congratulations on your time travelling ability laugh
Solid typo!

I’d say I watched the vast majority of the daily videos in 2017, but after the second consecutive video started with “hello schquad”, I just couldn’t take it and haven’t watched another. I presume that is still being said, but, by not going back I guess won’t know!

New subscriptions have been flying in since the very day I started that - which could be coincidence, but I believe in trying to grow it as a community and there is no better way to commence that. Don't get me wrong, I'm very sad to see you go but I feel that is a small reason and if it was enough then that's what we have to deal with.

Just skip the first minute until he gets into the decent stuff without all that intro guff.

You should apply that logic to most Youtube videos

Got to hand it to Shmee, he gets loads of st on here and never bites or takes things personally and he always answers with dignity and honesty. Fair enough, it isn't my sort of content, and isn't intended to be, but he certainly knows how to handle the PR or a business and on a personal level.

First rule of thumb, when dealing with the 'general public' is to maintain your own standards, no matter what level they may descend to. Of course, it's far, far easier said than done.

I was in Los Angeles recently and visited Petersen Automotive Museum. Some interesting cars of course and nice building but somehow it did not have much context or experiential info. Oh and full of kids with their parents. People like shmee (still, not a subscriber sorry!), I think doing a super-good job in that sense, there are millions kids or young enthusiasts out there, living who knows where and they can't access these cars or visit museums/factories in this level of detail but watching vlogs on youtube, completely free of charge.

He's certainly done a better job than TGE/Beefy - probably due to being better educated wink

Interesting thought. I had always assumed TGE was expensively educated as well - maybe he doesn’t have the full public school ‘plummy voice’ but he’s on the way there.

He struggled to understand that the Apple iPhone X meant iPhone ten.

Pretty sure he went to millfield school in Somerset.

Surely that’s very easy to say when neither can respond...
Why did Beefcake get suspended and for how long? He normally only gets a bit defensive and melodramatic, nothing too offensive or bad.

Yeah, I get it, especially when it comes to things like fixing the cars and just wanting the work done. People don't always realise that for someone to film doing the work adds such a disproportionate amount of time to the job.
Not only that, but the barn I've got isn't exactly the most appealing place on earth to video, and the lighting is pretty poor. I want to make it nicer in the summer but for now when I'm up there I just want to do jobs on the cars. I don't want to have to worry about camera angles and lighting smile

Always remember people will moan far more online than they would in real life because it's easier than face to face.
I'm no stranger to the internet, I know how people act on it. smile

Is that a public school prospectus euphemism for, caters for those with learning difficulties?

Full disclosure, Beefmeister is a mate of mine. I’ve read PH for years but never registered, thought it a good time now.

He got a month ban for some comments he made last week, someone reported him.

As for his education- he’s got a masters degree in mechanical engineering (as do I, it’s where we met) so he’s not exactly stupid.

I expected that would be said. I’m Korwen. Not really sure how I can prove it to you but then I don’t really think I need to.
