Are these Vloggers just a scam? SOL or Shmee etc???????

I have to say that I am getting sick and tired of the content by the so called "UK" YT'bers like SOL, Sam, JWW and even Seb It's the same old boring content with the same old cars. The worst has to be SOL who has never interacted with his audience, instead he showcases DUB customs (who I believe sponsor him) or his car dealer pal Tony who I find annoying AF.

That been said I've always enjoyed Shmee150 and I appreciate the fact he engages with his audience not only on here but also on the YT comment section. The same can't be said about the others like Sam and SOL who seem to be doing for views and ad money. And not sure why this click of YT'bers have turned their back on Shmee, I remember it was Shmee150 who gave JWW his start on YT. Oh how they forget.

You're right about Seb because I only started watching Seb after Shmee uploaded the FF road trip video which featured Seb.

Well just from watching the recent drive videos to Monaco and other recent videos it seems like SOL, Sam, Seb & JWW have shunned Shmee and compared to last year this time I find Shmee is the odd man. I read Shmee's response a few pages regarding this matter but even what he posted makes sense I still feel the vibe is off. It sucks because last years content at TM was awesome.

Frankly I couldn't give a rats ass about the politics, squabbles, bhing, who gave who their break etc so long as they keep putting out good content.

IMO Tim, Sam and James are knocking it out of the park recently, Sam in particular has really upped his game. Paul has fallen by the wayside in terms of content, new car or no. Never been interested in Seb's content, I'm probably too old.

And I still really enjoy TGE's stuff. It's short, punchy and amusing. Not trying to copy anyone else.

The problem is now everyone with an iphone wants in on it all to the point where there were teenagers stood outside Castle Combe yesterday afternoon waiting for people to leave the public car park. There was very little of interest in the car park and most people would just pootle away. One or two no doubt, upon seeing the kids, would floor it and give them something to post on youtube. Problem is the locals complain that people are driving like morons when leaving the circuit and Combe gets more bad press that it really doesnt need. The kids would have had far more fun had they actually been inside watching the track action, and ironically, got more footage of interesting things, cars on fire, crashes etc etc...

Isn't it just the case of a market reaching saturation? Every rich kid(and the occasional person that has made their own money) has a channel with the same predictable content and in fairness apart from trips to the south of France and reving in a car park they really don't do anything more interesting.

The real growth is clearly in the modfied reviewers, this surely has to be driven by the far more diverse content and the fact a lot of the cars could realisticly be yours one day.

You can Add Archie Hamilton to that group. They are clearly so short of content now that most of their videos seem to be videos about a video one of the others are making.

They all seem to follow the same format now :

1)I'm getting a new supercar
2)Test driving new supercars
3)Tony helps me buy a new supercar
4)Getting my car wrapped at DUB Customs
5)Getting a Larini exhaust fitted
6)Going to lots of free manufacturer jollies with SOL/Shmee,Seb,Archie,STG,JWW etc.
7)5 Things I love about my car
8)5 Things I hate about my car
9)Unwrapping my supercar
10)Selling my supercar

Rinse and repeat.

What an awesome channel, thanks for sharing. Great cars and the filming techniques to capture the disassembly etc are superb. You can tell he has a passion for filming just as much as for the cars.

Hope his talent is spotted ASAP and he really goes places

I have subscribed to this chap as well, thanks for the link. His video skills are excellent and he seems a natural in front of the camera, content is interesting too!

Has anyone watched any of BlackPanthaas' videos? Does mostly video game related car videos but has almost zero knowledge of cars and makes cringe worthy videos talking about stuff he hasn't a clue about.

No idea how channels like that get so many views.

I think its just a case of Shmee doing something different which is the smart move.

If he was of their trip to Monaco you would have 5 or 6 people all doing vids on the same stuff. At least Shmee is doing different stuff which more people would rather watch than another vid of the same cars out Seb's Dad's house.
