If it is TGE's car up for sale, he might be on the infamous manufacturer's naughty list which means no priority access to an LT/balls-out version down the track. It could also hurt his access to press drives for future models, such is the fickle nature of these manufacturers.

It's all hearsay at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it is his up for sale. And while it is his decision, I'm guessing that McLaren don't share your view of it being "fair play".

List price for a 720S Luxury is smidge under £220,000. And seeing as his wasn't heavily optioned it's at least £30,000 greater than list price. We'll say £20,000 for other charges just to be safe.

He's come out at least £20,000 better off after farting around for a few weeks and then getting rid of it. I'm pretty sure McLaren won't be jumping for joy, especially considering it's the only (real) one for sale on AutoTrader, and at a premium.

£248k list plus OTR charges.

This will no doubt be on SOR so the extra is commision to the dealer.

There are no "standard" 720s Lux in circulation yet.

Even when they do come out there will not be a single one in circulation that cost £220k.

I think we assumed that because the seller is Redline, not to mention his penchant for flipping his cars, it rendered the 720S bye bye.
