Stunning car and I want!

They just seem so over priced.

Compared to what other new 2 door sports convertible? I'm not sure what else there is to compare it to? Sure, there are dozens of second hand things you can choose from.

Check out the specs in the comparison tool on the Mazda website, you'll see the huge kit difference in the model specs.

The spec on this car is frankly crazy it has just about everything you could think of. It makes my old 2007 W221 S class feel like it was made 25 years ago!

As for the suspension, I'll reserve judgement, but this one has the Bilstein shocks on it so it feels firm enough to me, it feels just right, spot on in fact. I'd say it has a touch of initial understeer which is apparent if you don't turn in hard enough. But I've hardly driven it so far so will report back.

I was going to go to BBR and get it lowered as it sits too high for my taste, however I don't want to ruin the suppleness of the car so I'll probably give that a miss. Definitely going for a remap and a sports exhaust. It's a bit quiet down low, but sounds great up top. I'd like a bit more noise from it I think. Only criticism I can find so far.

Go try one out even if you have no intention of buying, I think it'll surprise you.

This video is spot on I think. Had it a few days now and agree with everything said on here:

I'm 6ft 3" and I have to have the seat fully back which means the steering wheel is a bit of a reach. Two mods for me would be an offset or shorter handbrake, and a steering wheel spacer. Hopefully someone will come up with these aftermarket. Outside of that, the exhaust note is a bit bland down low so it would benefit from something fruitier.

What really rings true is how much fun it is no matter what speed you're at, that's a massive factor IMO.
