XC90 - 15-20k miles. Mainly mway work too... thats what 2300kg of SUV will do to tyres.
Previous MINI R56 - sold at 35k miles on original tyres, still 5mm remaining, so that was v. good.
E70 BMW X5 - Owned it for 18 months now, and none of the bridgestones it came with were brand new then. I've covered nearly 35k of mixed driving in that time, and the fronts are only just due for replacement, with the rears hopefully with plenty left to last into the summer.Previous MINI R56 - sold at 35k miles on original tyres, still 5mm remaining, so that was v. good.
I dont get many miles on most of my cars as they only do about 5k a year so get replaced based on age rather than wear. I'd be be concerned about any tyre that had gone over 40k and still wasnt wearing down , I always look for any signs of cracking on the sidewalls or between the tread blocks. But thats probably because I never get to that kind of mileage on a tyre ae they really still in great condition at high mileage regardless of the tread depth ?
My Daily driver Jag I am please if I get 8k out of the rears, fronts I have been able to stretch to 20k.

Abarth: Fronts: 14,000 miles
Rears: 3mm left after 6 ½ years and 23k miles but being changed due to age
911: First set of rears lasted 8,000 miles
Now changed due to age, every 6 years
(Having grown up, fronts are prob good for ~20k, rears prob ~12k)
M3: Fronts: Lasted very well; just over half worn after 10,000+ miles
Rears: 1,500 miles 1st set
4,000 miles 2nd set
6,500 miles 3rd set
I’m sure longer distances were possible if one wasn’t a child.
M3 is the only car that I changed brands on. Came with Kumho but changed to Michelin. Michelin lasted much longer than Kumhos, gave better fuel economy and the car was much nicer to drive (vastly more predictable); spending money made sense!

I made the original set of OE Dunlop run flats on my Nissan GTR last till just over 18k miles which must be some kind of record. Admittedly the rears were are good as slicks but the fronts still had a good 3mm or so.
Reason I had them on so long was,the at the time, the replacement michelins I wanted were like rocking horse poo.

Not many mega-mile reps in BMW 116s
Really? Isn't a BMW 116d one of the most typical high mileage rep cars? Not many mega-mile reps in BMW 116s
Low Benefit in Kind and good fuel economy.

I've just gone from Kumho to Pirelli on the Saab it is much nicer to drive.80,000 miles on my Berlingo van, lightly loaded and lots of motorway, Hankook commercial tyres. The spare was the original Michelin, used it once after a puncture, that would have been 12 years old then, the underslung saddle it sat in had formed grooves in the sidewall it had been there that long...

On Kumhos I had understeer, snap oversteer and poor feel on the way to either.I bought the car with Kumhos on it but the rears were bald. Local shop had Kumhos in stock so I got rears to match. I ordered the Michelins pretty soon afterwards by which time the (new) rears had 2mm and the fronts were half-worn.
The fuel economy difference was twice the cost difference and it was much nicer to drive!

Wow, that's some going.
The fronts on my old company car octavia vRS use to last 8k!
My new Volvo XC60 seems remarkably light on its tyres. 13k in and I've just swapped them front to back but there was only a small amount of wear difference between them and not much overall wear, probably around 2mm off the front set?
Not bad for a 2 tonne front wheel drive SUV type thing.

Mine's ready for new fronts coming up to 30k
58000 miles on rear tyres on a fwd car. They still had legal tread but the ride was getting rough accompanied by a rumbling noise. On closer inspection of the date of manufacture they were made in 2006. The same age as the car. They must have been the original tyres and i think they must have being going out of shape or deteriorating from the sidewalls, although they looked okay. A pair of new tyres solved the rough ride and the rumbling sound.
Then after only 100 miles on the new tyres, I got a puncture on one, and had to buy another new tyre. Typically it never happened when I was running about on 9 year old tyres!
