I've seen a dark grey Defender a few times round these parts with the reg plate PU11 GUN - iirc, it's a clay pigeon shooting company.

Oh god, curse of the rotated photo...anyone care to help out? I have no idea what I've done wrong...

Spotted (briefly) crossing the Avon in Stratford this Wednesday gone.

It may even have been spaced legally, but even so, a '1' and a '5' do not an 'i' and an 's' make. So this it where it needs to live, IMHO.

Apparently it's on a BMW M Roadster. Doofus here thought he saw it on an MX5. Make of that what you will - it probably means I should hand in my PH vehicle recognition badges, and close the door on my way out... frown

M15 ERY is a good plate. It's perfectly easy to read 15 as is.

It's suitable for the thread as an amusing plate, I think

Spotted today on a Range Rover Vogue TDV6

It appears that Y1PEE is on a Nissan Micra Acenta CC. By far the better plate, but hey? The one on the Range Rover made me smile, so it's here, not in the 'crappy plates' thread...

Saw 39 YTX today, respaced on front to 39YT X, spells X Type in rear view mirror, quite clever I thought.

WH02 NAG on a 6 series Cabriolet hehe

It was spaced correctly so not "crappy" but it's not what I'd consider "Real Good" either so this thread seemed the best fit smile

On the M40 this morning going to Wolverhampton I heard Chris Evans waxing lyrical about Cilla Black and her statue being unveiled near the Cavern yesterday. On my return I was overtaken by a black Audi TT with the registration CILLA. Made me smile.

What's happened to the crappy plates thread? Looks like it was closed due a silly little argument between a couple of angry children.....
Just posted, so still active. This may be a little late.
