Dicky, I have seen F1X TV before locally too! From the looks of that you were on the A339, just entering Newbury to me. How far off of the mark am I?

Do you have an assistant by name Dr Watson?

I'm on Pyle Hill, parallel to the A339, just south of The Plough.

Sadly not, just too much time in the area! 20 years next year.

I'm not too far away at all. I'm not a Newbury resident, but live in Bradfield. I used to work on Pinchington Lane for few years, too.

We had 1275 GT on the Real Good Plates thread recently. Perhaps there is a British Leyland nostalgia boom.

This was on the Real Good thread but it seemed more appropriate for this thread rather than the Crappy one.

Used to see V1 BRO quite regularly. Was on a Rover 620 when I last saw it, but looks like it's on a Focus now.

Think the owner had some kind of vibrating plant company.

Apparently my spot, A B16 VAN doesn't belong in the good number plates thread frown
Found on a LWB sprinter of course.

No picture but I was following a van the other day wearing S113ARU. They hadn't made a big deal out of it and I was thinking there's a Subaru aficionado somewhere who'd pay a pile of money for that. When I looked a bit harder the van belonged to Simpsons Subaru. D'oh.

Saw a Rolls wafting around London today. Plate 'TEA 130Y' with a little encouragement of the 1 and 3 together. Looked great. I felt very council for liking it.

Last night I saw TW0 2TAN on a PT Cruiser.

I think it was advertising dance classes on it.

PA57 GAS on the M4. Took me longer than it should. I don't know why you'd want it but it made me smile when the penny dropped.

Quick question, why create a seperate thread for plates just because of their spacing? Are you guys hating on the fact they've changed the spacing against how it should be? If so, why? I know it isn't 'strictly' to the letter of the law, but that law was to stop people disguising their plates and making it look like the letters aren't what they are. Surely if it's still completely clear what the plate is and can be read by ANPR it isn't that bad?
