Ah well intentionally stayed away you see as I found myself on the MZR site last week andhad evil thoughts on sales of TVR and 'project 240z' until I saw the costs involved.......
Daft feelings like those mean I have to go and lie down until the feeling goes away.....
This on the other hand has been on the list for many years..

This got me looking up some of my old cars on the MOT database. Their demise makes depressing reading as some have, inevitably, rotted away with the decline documented in detail in the MOT history. My original VTEC(er, Yo!) Prelude was notably poor. The word corrosion was used often and, as time elapsed, took on some quite worrying implications. Looking at it one could see that the chassis was rotten and so were the majority of the suspension fixing points. Bet the engine was still OK though.Thinking back about my CRX, it had what seemed very thin paint. I had come from
Mk1 Gti Campaigns over I think the previous 4 or 5 years and the paintwork took all
sorts of abuse, but they didn't turn brown in front of me. The CRX chipped very easily
and lots of brown specs started to appear. Even the local Honda dealer took pity and
and painted the bottom halves of the doors. It was only a couple of years old at the
time and I got rid not long after as I could only see it getting worse.
One of the few cars I left completely standard, not even a better steering wheel.

Today I give you: the nearly £60K RS2
And it's the way more common wrong-hand-drive (but only lightly used, granted).
Just like my old one ...

That looks superb Olly. There’s just something lovely about big-engined sub-M 5-seriesjeremyc said:

Lovely, although the lack of parts scared me a bit when I considered one a few years back. My B5 is suffering from similar NLA issues now too, and not sure many are getting broken these days eitherEdited by Leins on Wednesday 6th June 21:28
Clio Williams were great fun!
I can't link a photo as it's 360 job, but these are pretty cool

Slight change of topic...
Porsche apparently have set a new Nürburgring lap record with the retired and not constrained by any BOP and class rules 919...
5:01
Think about it
Let that sink in
Beloff did it in over 6!!!
It has been a long time that I have felt giddy about anything Motorsport
Today was one of those days...

Ferris,I am not taking anything away from the monumental achievement of Beloff...
I happen to partake in classic racing every now and then. Last year the difference between the pole at Spa and us in 17th (72 starters from memory) was 4 seconds!
For Porsche to take out more than 60 seconds out of time which was out of this World anyway is a phenomenal achievement. Full stop. No ifs, no buts, no age of the record related comments...
I am celebrating human achievement.
The new “record” is meaningless. It was set by a car not in competition and not under any restrictions.
Yet, the very fact they went out and did and definitely flirted with the impossible makes me giddy and happy that Motorsport is a hobby of mine and that I can relate to it.
As for Beloff, I am sure he is smiling...
