5OV (O instead of a zero) spotted on a very nice blue Merc C63s AMG on the Rabbit Run to Telford.

Interestingly it's where I spotted 50V (with a zero) and I've checked and they're two separate plates.

Oh and BED80Y (reading BED BOY, not sure whether it's a spin off of BADBOY but whatever hehe)

The photo is Newcastle-under-Lyme, not far from Nantwich.
Thanks droopsnoot, I thought I'd spotted it near Betley on Friday night, and therefore probably did! Nice motor too, love an old W124 estate!

That is desperate.
To suggest that it's 'desperate' would imply that it's supposed to say something, but I'm buggered if I know what. Other than the spacing, it looks like a normal plate to me. What's the secret?

The font is undersized to get it to fit on one line, the background looks as if it features multiple Landrover logos, it's just got Bellend written all over it.

Correct, driving seemed to corroborate your assessment too.

Ultimate track car plate?

G7 NUR

GT Nurburgring

Given that a GT car is, by definition, not a track car, then no. Even if it wasn't st.
