Saw this at the WEC at Silverstone at the weekend:

WEC 1. Unfortunately it appears to be a show plate as it doesn't come up in any searches.
Never originally issued either, so if DVLA say they have not sold it must be showplate. Shame!
I forgot to look it up on the DVLA auction site - it sold for £5000 in 1996. getmecoat

I see P3 DOH on a red Mazda 3 near work.

Also B54 NDS as B 54NDS. They're not good plates but I laugh

The photo is Newcastle-under-Lyme, not far from Nantwich.

J1 LLY

JOL 1E

Both on unmodified, non-council 4x4 vehicles.
Both with legal fonts and spacing.

No idea if on here already but a few I liked - 222 HOT on 911 Turbo in 70s ' TEN 10 on Shelby Mustang in 60s , BAD 541T on a Chimera in 90s, 7UP on various random family cars in N Yorks , also local - P15 NUT which I first saw on a 306 . And , obviously , 250 GTO on Nick Mason's - you can guess what - parked next to me at Silverstone in 81 .

Thanks for those figures - interesting to note the differential prices....

You might be able to help me on this - I saw a Ferrari with the plate "BOB"
I'm thinking "BO 8" "80 B" or "8 OB" but can't find anything about it in my numberplate books.
Any ideas?
(I remember John Atkins had "BOO 8" and other variations some years ago...)

Thank you - that must be the plate I saw (a few years ago) on the Ferrari.

Spotted in Greenwich.
