ANG 1E on a 10 year old silver Polo in Dyce this morning. A nice investment for the little old lady driver I suspect.

I see STE 11A has bought herself a new white RRS
It's not a RRS, but yes she does have a new car. I'm surprised it's been spotted, it's spent almost more time being fixed than driven.

Nothing wrong with an Arnage, except its rather old tech now.

Drove one across Europe many times.

In fact that could have been my boss`s old one except for the lack of a reverse camera, it looked like an extra parking sensor

Nothing remotely council about his number plate either!!

........and you never own them, they all still belong to the dvla (I seem to remember reading somewhere). You just own the right to display them on your vehicle wobble

Bought another from the Auction in the week, was over priced I think but wanted it as it's a consecutive number to one I already have.
Some prices do seem crazy, also almost everything sells now where as before there would be pages of unsold lots available.

Yeah I agree most are going for at least £1000 in reference to one mentioned above GRA 2Y went for £2100 and KE03 LLY seems like a rip off for £2k imo

Seems a lot of money, yes but not a ripoff as someone bid the price up, the DVLA didn't set the sale price if you see what I mean. Assume a bidding war broke out and someone eventually bailed.

Either bought by Addison Lee or somebody who thinks they will want to buy it?

Slightly off topic but I was wondering whether other people felt the same way about one aspect of owning a personalised registration which is privacy, we have personalised plates on most of our family cars and we do love them however at times since it makes the car more recognisable people have often told me they've seen my car out and about which is ok however can be a bit of a pain with nosey neighbours etc knowing your whereabouts. Has anybody else had similar problems?

We have one on each car but I've never really thought about it. If I led an exciting life perhaps I'd more conscious of it.

If you neighbour is that way inclined they will be looking for you no matter what car you have or what reg number you have. I don't believe a reg number to make much difference in that regard....I often get told they've seen me with a different reg number or a different car rolleyes

It 100% definitely does. I've regularly been spotted in random places because of my plates

Fiesta money Bentley and a £1000 number plate. Hmmm, prestige. Probably got a tiny front drive and gold tipped gates as well.

This is how it's done: Nothing pub landlord/bookie about this:
