Fiesta money Bentley and a £1000 number plate. Hmmm, prestige. Probably got a tiny front drive and gold tipped gates as well.
How do you know the owner didn't buy the Arnage new?

And, I'll bet the running costs of an Arnage are a bit different to your local Ford dealer and a Ford Fiesta.

Pistonheads: Passive aggressive assumptions and generalisations matter.

Often from people who rent their tiny driveways

Nothing wrong with an Arnage, except its rather old tech now.

Drove one across Europe many times.

In fact that could have been my boss`s old one except for the lack of a reverse camera, it looked like an extra parking sensor

Nothing remotely council about his number plate either!!

You couldn't afford that car or plate either so don't criticise others until you can

Yeah I agree most are going for at least £1000 in reference to one mentioned above GRA 2Y went for £2100 and KE03 LLY seems like a rip off for £2k imo
I would have made an offer on GRA2Y if it went under £1000, just because... £2k was too much. And I think many underestimated the appeal of "TWO 80B (Bit)" which was around £13k total.

Anyway, no shortage of good numbers - they are like diamonds.

Fairly easy to get that info online. Did 37k miles between its last MOTs, good going and won't have been cheap!.

Guys,
Let's keep it civil.
The poster of the plate thought it worth photographing and posting.
That's good enough for me.

Saw a couple on the M40 on Saturday - CAR 10S and LAU 2A. Both properly spaced.

It seems 'GT' plates are to Porsches like 'OO' plates are to Astons.

When looking to purchase a plate why is it that the same plate appears on numerous different sites for different prices?

none of them owns the plates ... I've seen my plate for sale on 4 or 5 different sites ... the cheapest place to buy is direct from me

I've seen a plate I'm interested in on one site it's £780 all inclusive of fees etc elsewhere it's on for £980-£1000 if I add to the basket and checkout on the cheaper site how does that work? They have to contact the seller first or is there an agreement in place already that it can be sold for that price?

They usually contact the vendor with a stupid price a lot lower than you've offered ... I know someone who sold a plate for £31K when RegTransfers had offered them £7.5K. It was originally up for £50K
