Nice - are you in Melbourne ?
Yup.

Here it is on something quintessentially Aussie, as the troll didn't like my TT.

FD is Nottingham - so I would assume that FDL is Nottingham?
RW is Reading

so how is either NI? - big difference between NI and non-NI prices
still don't think that they are worth the expected price, but would put them a bit higher than your suggestion - ultimately though it is all subjective and down to who wishes to buy!

You may have made a good point there laugh

Drove past it late last night, sure I remember it sporting the AMG bumpers etc but I'm assuming that's all it had in common. Must engage brain next time smile

The first is an old Isle of Wight mark, the other Coventry. N Ireland plates seem to fetch less than other (Eng/Scot/Wal) non-year letter marks

FD is Nottingham under the new system, not the old system of number plates.

DL is the relevant area part of that plate. The F is just a random letter i believe.

Pay no he'd to the guy with the £500 valuation.
He may well have a lll nnn N.I plate for £575 but it'll have an I or Z in it somewhere, and there will be dozens with the same letters for sale on the plate sites.
FDL is an odd one....can't see a single one for sale on any of the major sites yet n FDL did not make strong money when auctioned by DVLA. I was once told by a plate dealer that F is not a popular letter( thank heavens as I got my plate for reasonable money).
CRA1G or Mr. Reg are the usually good with values etc.
The RW plate is easier, lots for sale with the resale plate guys, can't find one for under £3000 so price accordingly if you want a quick sale. Again take advice from the 2 I've named above.
As for the £500 guy, I'll take all the FDL plates and RW plates you can get me for £500.

FDL and RW are both quite rare combinations... DVLA have not auctioned any RW numbers and only a few FDL inc 1-4 FDL the later sold for £1600 + VAT Etc in july 15 so that gives you an idea.. Imo to sell out right to a dealer around £12/1500 all in for FDL £2/300 less for RW but on the open market your looking at double that less commissions.... But good look which ever way you decide to go...
