Yes they do. But the first letters of the number plate stipulates the town where you live, so in this case AC = Aachen. The rest of the numbers/letters you can apply for with the local gouvernment.AL5026 said:
That's my mother in law's Mini. The plate was bought for £50, but that was before my wife was born. And she's now 43.
They have had plenty of offers to buy it, including one from Harry Webb back in the 1970s.
More recently they were offered a mind boggling amount of money from a Portuguese footballist who was playing for Manchester Rovers at the time.
Funnily enough, it's always been on Minis, both BMW flavoured ones and, before that, proper ones.
