Weird. I saw N2GEL the other day and it reminded me of that programme. Not sure if the same guy still owns it (probably as I seem to recall he thought it was worth a fortune).

Blimey! Nigel Dobbie in that video! A long term PHer and remember seeing the Vette all over the plate, including down in Le Mans. Wasn't his Mrs Jan with the koenigsegg?

That's right. they both reside and work in the USA these days. He still writes about Corvette Racing in 'Vette News.'

I remember well his yellow 'Vette with BL03 JOB as its plate.

Seen on the M40 this morning, a Mercedes CLS with the number plate spaced to read OO0 5 LTR. I think I can guess what engine was in that wink

If I owned that plate, I'd christen my kid (boy or girl!) Nigel, just to make sure the plate was relevant.

Other thread here - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

But more recently it appears to have been taken over by 2 posters that have taken the original fun out of the thread with just posting pictures & having a chuckle and turned it into a "everyone's a chav" thread.

Re the plate - it appears to have been moved onto an '07 Merc Sprinter at some point based on the details on Cazana.

A Google of the plate itself seems to suggest that it wasn't an actual NHS ambulance it was attached to and was likely a private ambulance that had been left liveried up.

Ah, makes sense. It was at Alnmouth, no far from Newcastle.
