WIF 1 was issued in Cork in 60/61 but as we know Cork is in Ireland and as such the plate is not transferable. In addition to this that BMW is a UK registered car..... one that slipped through the net after been stuck in a brown envelope perhaps?

I sometimes see RIN 111 near me in Derbyshire. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another plate with IN in it.

VIP 1 is another which has been sold in the UK. I think it became impossible to transfer from Eire to UK after the Irish system changed in 1987.
