I know I’m going to get crucified for the plate size (although I’m sure it’s actually legal) and the fact I’ve pushed it together but I am absolutely over the moon with this!
I have wanted this since I was a 17 year old labourer 22 years ago!
Today I finally got it smile

Excellent!

Nothing wrong with the plate size if it's just shortened, spacing wise I think it would look as good if not better with a gap but only a category 1 offence on here smile

Cracking plate though, how did you go about acquiring it? Was it through a dealer or private sale?

It was owned by my first boss I worked for, He wanted a lot of money for this (low 5 figures) and eventually sold it a few years ago to someone in Scotland.
I was browsing for similar plates when I saw this for sale on one of the well known dealers websites.
I googled the reg to see if I could see what it looked like on a truck, only to find it listed on eBay for a lot less than he bought it for. Divorce apparently frown
A deal was struck and I’m very very happy to finally have it home smile

The same rules probably apply for paving and plates though. If you get pulled up on spacing once best do it right the second time. laugh

I OU

M1 near Long Buckby.

Off Topic - my wife took the picture with her phone which refuses to zoom. I clipped the picture above using the editor on my phone from her picture below.

Being able to do this was unimaginable a few years ago. Ain't technology wonderful?

Haha very good hehe

Its so weird to look at this van now, it almost looks like it doesnt have a registration. Looks very odd (in a good way) and as sad as it sounds i cant stop looking at it hehe
