5 years ago I was all pleased with myself for getting the plate “W4AFT” for my Citroen C6. I came on here all excited, expecting praise and adulation, and was told it had a 4 in it, didn’t really say waft, so was a fail. I took it hard. Hopes and dreams crushed. W4AFT as yet is still not on a vehicle.

But now I’m back with a plate on my new (very old) wheels that takes no liberties with lettering , is correctly spaced, is a perfect (literal) fit for the car ... and I want my redemption arc complete damn it.

I'll ask. What did you pay for it? Sold in '90 for £1600 plus fees. Mind you.... Year before someone got auction fever and paid £11K plus fees for 560 SECeek

I'm not usually a model plate fan, but in the case of classics I'll make an exception. Very nice plateyes

Still have the C6?
Came with the car - which was an absolute bargain at 6k, sold by a chap living in the US now who would like it to go to a good home...
Great plate and a result that it came with the car.

Wrong thread. Spacing, and it's presumably meant to say "BEN" only it doesn't.
Would look better spaced correctly and on a rectangular plate.

However, regardless of whether it is supposed to read Ben or not, it’s a great number IMO.
