That’s all right. smile
Who said it wasn't...? £60K + VAT Etc....

30 years ago....yikes
As I followed it along the M40 this evening, I did wonder what it cost... That's staggering!
I bought my house for £30k 30 years ago. That puts it in perspective,

Mind, ELV 1S is now probably worth more than my old house biggrin

“GOT 1“

I used to see it on a Rover / MG. was up for sale for £10k some 20 years ago.

Is now on a new Audi Q7 I believe.

Would be far better and funnier on something rare / exotic / unusual.

Passed PP11 ZZA on the M6 at the weekend - not quite a single-single, but I liked it.

Wow that's odd - would've expected it to be the original reg, the plates looked to be the period black and silver embossed ones

That was a mental price to pay, a tad over £74K

What's it worth today? Was it a good buy.....

Well. Had they bought the following 1x1's in the following auctions..... 2A, 4X, 7Y, 7C, 3G and 8G they would have had change from the same amount, plus three of those plates have sold for £££'s

Was a pretty flash plate that used to live on an old Renault Clio (base model) that an old couple had in tenterden, kent.

Looking on ‘vehicle smart’ it’s on a Land Rover defender these days.

The last issue by London before changing to AJJ-B was 762 HYH. Leaving lots for the DVLA to sell!

Original issue plate from Kent in 1964. Now a stock plate of a plate dealer

Some are. Some aren't.

Really depends on the plate.

I'm guessing the original plate was transferred off at some point in history, the DVLA assign a random 3x3 dateless plate, then a new owner decides to put a cherished number on, in this case a 1x3.

GT 2 on an Aston, driving down the M6 on Sunday. Wonder what porches would give for that?

In other news, 100% completion over the three days of DVLA auction last week.
