T H Boler reviews?

I sold them an Aston and purchased one from them. How would I describe them, quite difficult to give a straightforward answer.
The good: very accommodating, very pleasant to deal with and excellent showroom and premises.
I had purchased an Aston elsewhere, I wanted a newer one that they were selling on behalf of a customer. I negotiated a price over the phone and duly visited them.
Very hospitable and no issues to having a test drive whilst they inspected my car. On return to the dealerships I was surprised to hear my car had been inspected and had been repaired front and back. This came as a shock to me as I had not noticed anything myself. I was duly shown what they had found, and although minor they were correct. ( on very close inspection).
I asked if they still wanted to trade and indeed if they would stand by the quote. They phoned the owner of the car and no doubt got him to reduce his price a little , I paid them the agreed price without any deduction and they serviced and delivered the car to my home.
I have since had one very minor issue which they sorted out very promptly and to my total satisfaction.
I then saw the advert for my car at a relatively very sensible markup But described as immaculate!
My conclusion would be that as long as you inspect the car you should be fine.
I believe they are a good dealership and I would be happy to trade with them in future.

Very much appreciated.. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I am considering Purchasing a Cayman GT4 from them
I placed a 911 with Th Boler in April. They initially listed it as a Tipronic instead of manual. They corrected the mistake with no acknowledgement. I next heard from them five weeks later. The gentleman i dealt with had left the business for "personal reasons" and would i like to consider reducing the frankly optimistic price ? My wife said I would call them. When i did and checked the website I was surprised to see they had reduced the price without my consent. I visited the dealership that morning (to find my car particularly dirty on the forecourt). I raised the issue of the lack of contact, the incorrect description, and the price reduction that I hadn't agreed to. No real explanation was given, I asked for my documents and keys and left. The only snippet I was told that a viewing had taken place the previous day. A prospective purchaser had driven 200 miles to see the car to realise its colour description was incorrect. I raised all of the above points in a letter, seven days later I have had to reply.

Did you buy the GT4 Cayman from Bolers Phil ?
No as my experience with them wasn't great.. the car I was interested in was advertised as a 2016 plate then it later transpired that it was a 2015! They still wanting the advertised price with no negotiation. luckily I found one at Porsche Leicester 2016 plate better spec and 2k cheaper As someone said earlier, there were some very bad reviews. The thread went on to confirm, many times, that this dealer was less than reputable.
Personally I was very disappointed that the thread was deleted with no reason. Also, Boler advertise heavily on PH.
I am the last to be cynical but...
My advice would to be careful.
Ps. I have no experience with this dealer other than what I have read on Pistonheads

My limited experience. I inquired after a 997 (before i bought my Aston) it was listed as a Parr Stage 3 conversion, upon asking what this meant and what documentation they had the replies became 1 word answers with no
info forthcoming whatsoever. I called Parr who said they do not do such a conversion. I walked. Got the impression they would be very hard to deal with post sale should the need arise.

So, I picked up a Vantage S from TH Boler today.
It was parked outside, spotless and ready to go. I had previously noted a nick in the carbon-fibre front splitter and Adrian had booked it in to CarbonFibreRepair.com to have the whole part refurbished (at no cost to me), which caused a couple of weeks delay. He also noted that the glass key had a chip in it and pledged to get this sorted out in the next week or so via Aston.
I can't comment on anyone else's experience, but so far mine has been very positive and I couldn't really ask for more. Good aftercare is a pretty good measure of an attentive car dealer, so I will update this thread once the cosmetic issue with the key has been dealt with.
Oh, and the car is quite nice, too.
