IIRC from threadists, that engine has a tendency to develop oil leaks from anywhere at any time....
but still.........................

That's strong money for a pre-LCI on those miles, and yeah the oil leak thing is definitely a factor (although with limbs touching multiple wooden objects I can say mine hasn't given any major issues on admittedly half the mileage!)
Brilliant cars though, excellent balance of fun and practicality.

hahaha!! There is an old dear down my street that has what i assume to be her long dead husband's silver mondeo rotting on her drive. It's been sat on flat tyres for at least 8 years and hasn't moved for a lot longer i think. Never could figure out why she's kept it... had assumed it was some kind of inability to let go thing, but maybe she was just a shrewd classic speculator!!

I'm getting itchy for another Citroen C6. It looks like my workshop project has had the kybosh put on it by a TPO being slapped on the trees in my garden, so I'm tempted to scrap/break the MX5 and get another C6 instead...

They're almost all within budget, but while my ideal one would be the 3.0 Exclusive, there's only 33 of them in the UK and they are going for £20k or there abouts when they DO come up for sale..

2.7 Lignage Exclusive with Lounge Pack will have to do..

Silly expensive for that; no heated seats either...

More realistically £6-£7k IMO

Love the vivid 1990s seat fabric in that one.

Punchy KGF pricing as always, but it's super low mileage and represents Ford's return to form in the mid-1990s.

Everything becomes a classic given enough time, particularly Fords. It's just a new set of tyres and a brightly-lit photographic studio away from being a £4995 modern classic smile

Within a haggle of top thread is this shed of an Arnage. What could possibly go right?

The shed that it's parked in front of may be a more reliable form of transport.
Sold. With those 'brilliant' photos, it's not hard to see why! laugh

Believable excuse, though, which explains why he hasn’t managed to open the doors!

Interior actually looks in sync. MOT history looks somewhat absent to gauge.

In a lot of ways it's a bit rubbish, but that just makes me want it more.

I agree.

Those wheels should be forged Campags, shouldn't they?

I think that's a rather horrid mix of a classic shape and modern interior.
