In the Golf nothing at all, in the IS-F a few positive comments, usually about the colour or how good it sounds.

The Z3? Not a lot ... Perhaps the occasional glance from the more mature woman. I've had a co-worker mention that she thought it was a pretty sexy car!

My Audi powered Elise? Tons of attention - It's not exactly subtle! Anything from thumbs up to conversations in petrol stations, or at some traffic lights. I've been stopped for photos and all sorts. However I've received negative comments too, albeit not many. It's also the sort of car that promotes others to race you. Not much can win though tongue out

Highly modfied 1975 Jaguar XJ v12 coupe (currently being restored back early next year). Lots of looks and stares because they are as rare as rocking horse st. Extreme courtesy from other drivers, apart from the off tt in a diesel Audi that wants me to move out of the way on a motorway and then struggles to keep up when the loud pedal is pressed. Lots of people wanting to talk in petrol stations too.... although they get a long time with 2 tanks of 100 litres combined to fill hehe

My Tuscan gets lots of attention, mainly friendly.
Having written one off in the past, I decline race requests.
It's funny when you here dads say "I don't know what it is", and then their 8 year old son tells them it's a TVR Tuscan dad. (Computer games).

I bought a Cebera recently but it's in for a top end rebuild. Looking forward to getting out in it.

Atom lots of attention, 99% positive, the 3 series 50/50 and 1 series zero attention.

To be honest I quite enjoy chatting to like minded folk about cars.

Get the odd thumbs up or glance in my Panda 100HP, which I like because very few people appreciate it, unless a fellow petrol head.

I drive a Mustang V8.

There are 10 in the country, which makes it considerably rarer than almost any exotica.

It gets a lot of attention, but all good 'thumbs up' kind of stuff.

Its a feel good / be happy car smile
10 in the country, have seen two this weekend and not been very far ?

I drive a Black Edition Fiesta. Despite the red lip-stick painted on the front, it gets no attention (and rightfully so).

My Smart Roadster Coupe always got looks/comments. Mostly from people not knowing what it was, or from kids thinking it was a scaled up hot-wheels.

I used to own a Fabia vRS, the diesel one. That seemed to bring out the worse in other drivers.

I had about 6 incidents in the 2 years I owned it. Doubt I had 6 incidents in the 20 other years I've been driving.

When I drive my Ultima (took it out for a blast this afternoon) it could almost have the strap-line, "Drama on the road" The usual reaction is an obvious WTF look from everyone all the way from vicars to grandmothers. Nothing I drive or have driven gets as much attention, all of it positive, whether that is smiles, thumbs-up, photos, stares or impulsive point and stares. You also see genuine jaw-drops, which is quite funny. Not really a car for the shy and retiring.

The Sapphire Cosworth get attention and conversations at petrol stations, although not as much as it did a few years ago. People seem to like Estorile blue on the BMW but that's about it.

Impreza Terzo PPP - loads of waves and thumbs up from other Subaru drivers. The downside was middle aged men in family hacks trying kill themselves along with other innocents carrying out suicidal takeovers.

Monaro VXR - Loads of attention wherever I went. All positive. It was always fun having to repeat what size of engine it had to people at the petrol station.

Nissan Note - not a snifter.
MINI Clubman S - every now and again, primarily if it decides to suddenly pop in a small crowded street.
VW T25 2.0 aircooled - plenty of attention from the VW crowd, especially when she was back firing a couple of years ago. Put everyone on edge except my two year old son who loved it....' Daddy do it again.'

Bmw 730i with the exhaust cut off at the centre box. Lots of looks - probably due to the deafening sound. Odd coloured front bumper and wing don't help!

In my ST170 I don't get much attention. It's just an old Focus, the exhaust is pretty quiet when just going around normally, when getting a move on it's pretty loud but it's not the kind of car that draws much ire.

My GSX-R1000 is pretty stealthy, it doesn't have any markings that differentiate it from a 600 apart from a little recessed "1000" on the subframe cover on the side of the bike. It has a full Akrapovic system the cat and collector box removed and is pretty loud but not MotoGP loud. Still, I get plenty of dheads trying it on. There's always someone ready to take offence when a bike filters to the front at the lights.

I always get loads of attention. Unfortunately it's almost always from cars with these flashing blue light thingies on top.

My sunbeam lotus used to be the best ever for attracting a crowd, or thumbs up or even people filming it etc. Had a guy do a u turn in a van and follow me till I stopped who wanted to nosey and offer to buy it.
Also had a guy come up at a show who used to own it and he later sent me some Polaroids of it back in the 1980s.

My 993 gets a lot of attention including lads in corsas and imprezas wanting a race at lights but in a nice way as they often give thumbs up etc.

My 500 quid corolla seems to attract idiots who want to drive into it or overtake as it's an auto and a bit slow getting going as I tend to potter in it.

Driving the Porsche down the motorway is like the parting of the red sea, so i feel obliged to over take at Mach 10.

Westfield because it's low, bright yellow and loud!

205 because it's bog standard and cool.

The Scirocco does get quite a bit of attention due to the wrap, spoiler etc. and certainly more than I was expecting.

It gets a positive comment from someone maybe once a week - whilst filling with fuel, checking tyre pressures etc. - which is nice.
