I know these things are subjective, but even so...

Atleast its not another grey german software salesmans runaround.
Totally. It's just an ugly big French barge that depreciated like a stone and breaks down every 5 minutes. I'm sure the owners felt morally superior for a while though?

Oh right. These too then.

Unfortunately, French car design seems to have largely lost its individualism (C4 Cactus I know but that's just weird) and just deliver us something else that looks German.

Ferrari GTC4Lusso (FF) is fking fabulous.
There must be something wrong with me because I find that hideous.

Just no.

I know this is an opinion piece, but the Mk1 Golf is as bland and unstyled as they come. Even it's stablemate the Audi 50/VW Polo is a more deserving candidate...

Although TBH the MK1 Fiesta sets the '70's benchmark.

Best looking hatchback ever (so far) though?! I'm going to stick my neck out and say previous generation Astra...

There is just something very cohesive about it (that has been very noticeably lost with the latest iteration) that makes even base models look 'good'.

It's rare that I agree with people on this, but I'm with you on the Golf.

Not so much the Astra. It's not a bad looking car but I wouldn't put it at the top. The best looking Astra (in my opinion) is the generation before that one. I'm trying to decide what I'd put at the top for me. Probably not a Vauxhall but there have been some good looking Astras.

Couldn't agree more, awful looking thing. Then again, there hasn't been a good looking Ferrari since the 355.

Another vote for the Peugeot 306, it's a fabulously well-resolved design.

Amongs recent cars, the Astra mentioned above, although only in three-door guise. It was never a particularly outstanding car in any other respect but it showed the opposition what was possible within the safety constraints of the time.

Haha, its my dream car. Something about it I just love biggrin. Would love to put a roofrack on it and fire my canoe on the top just too piss of the Ferrari PR team (who frequently seem to try to dictate to owners what they can and cant do with there own bloody cars)

Even the standard A3/S3 8V is a good looking car, but the RS3 8V just looks so right
