I really don't understand all the V8 only rubbish, they've been many variants of 4 cylinder/6 cylinder versions previously.
Drive both back to back and you will understand.

Turbo 4s have been available from the early 80s, including the McLaren Mustang and the SVO. Even if the V8 coyote was not a superior engine to the ecoboost, it's beyond spec sheets and numbers. All the ingredients are there.

Whether it is an ecoboost or V8 both are expensive, the small price difference between the tw do not make the ecoboost worth it. By the time you have spent the money tuning an ecoboost to US coyote spec, you could have spent the same money making the V8 700-800bhp.

Swerni, these are nice motors, I don't think anyone would deny that. Like you, and probably everyone, I'd also prefer the V8. However, as mentioned probably several times, I'm looking for a daily driver that I can use round town and still go on the odd long trip. For me the Ecoboost fits the bill. I tend to change my cars every 4 years or so, so maybe after the Ecoboost I'll take a V8, but for now I'm excited by the Ecoboost. I think the original subject matter has been lost in petty banter here. What would be good is if we all drove that Revo Ecoboost and then make our minds up. I doubt anyone would describe it as sluggish or sh!te then! Btw, the Revo Mustang would most likely be at least as quick as an 05 GT if not quicker. That is not meant to be disrespectful either, I love your cars and would gladly add to my collection! But not as a daily. Whatever, German car you have, get shut and get an Ecoboost then you'll have a Mustang for all occasions!

A rental (non PP) ecoboost auto convertible is the Ginger stepchild of the lineup - dont make judgements based on that hehe

Ive been out and about in mine this morning, -7c, bloody lovely!

Once its lowered a bit, it should look spot on.

No, don't lower it, it looks spot on as it is! Must admit I hate cars that are lowered too much. That really does look spot on!

I have to admit they look so much better with a 1" drop and slightly wider rear track - certainly not dropped into the arches like some.

Yup, about an inch lower with the wheels pushed out.

The PP cars were (apparently) supposed to come with what Ford Racing now sells as the performance upgrade, as standard. But it was removed for cost cutting.
So what are you using for wheel extenders to push the track out?

I had a tuner warn me about load bearings doing that but I figured 25mm isn't a big deal

Ill be getting different wheels with a lower ET, although 23 or 25mm spacers on the stock wheels (or stock ET) are fine.
As long as the spacers are hubcentric, it is no different to fitting 25mm lower ET wheels.

Your car looks cool as is tbh. I prefer a bit of an arch gap. Naturally low cars somehow look good with an arch gap, like a Jag F type or a 2015 Mustang!
