Best smoker barges 1-5 large [vol11]

This isn't a barge, but I know there's quite a lot of expertise and love for them here, and it perhaps offsets the Cayenne a bit on the yin and yang Porsche scale. It looks a pretty decent proposition to my (admittedly vey inexpert) eye.
Detailed ad that the vendor has clearly spent time over, revealing the type of OCD behaviour that would infuriate in a family member but reassures on a strange drive with a pocket full of money.
Yours, for a surprising exact but car-appropriate £3924.

Red cars aren't for me, and I don't like the side scripts, but both of those are purely subjective foibles and in every other regard that sounds like a very worthwhile example. Hope it goes to a good home.Detailed ad that the vendor has clearly spent time over, revealing the type of OCD behaviour that would infuriate in a family member but reassures on a strange drive with a pocket full of money.

I like that.
Cool story bro etc, but a bloke in the pub once gave me a 924. Auto no less. I did buy him a litre of Bells though to show gratitude, so not quite free. I think he drank it the same night. It ran too. It wasn't for me so sent it to EBay. A nice chap came from Ireland via ferry, rail and cab, paid up, jumped in it and headed back on the long road to Holyhead. It had cracked tyres and hadn't seen daylight, never mind a testing station for 10 or more years. I never knew the outcome, but would love to know.
Similarly I had a 944 and got a set (sort of it was actually 3) of alloys for a bottle of Jack Daniels. I bought the 944 for £1800 it had 170k miles and was still tight as a drum. Sold after two happy years for £2400 iirc. Great cars and have enough Mercedes bits that I didn't feel like I was cheating.....Cool story bro etc, but a bloke in the pub once gave me a 924. Weekend 1-5 thread imaginary purchase game!
Post the v12 for sale that you'd most like to buy for thread budget.
You are a timid sort of chap, so no haggling - there's a strict £5,000 price limit for ads. The winner will be judged by 'general thread consensus' (ie there won't be one!).
I'm not sure about the location of the photos for this 600 v12, but it looks okay and is cheap if the miles are correct: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercades-SEL600-V12-1992...

That will be nice once the DHP wheels are back on it. If I was the vendor I'd do that and try and sell those monstrosities on ebay.Motorrad said:

They Legacy is definitely bargey - I had one with the 2.5 and it was a very comfy machine indeed, fiercely practical as well.
Looks absolutely corking, but sadly not a V12!
This would be my choice I think, assuming I wasn't tempted by a Merc biturbo. In fact it'd probably be a coin-toss.

It does, however, look a lot like a cobbler's thumb.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...
