A random 13plate C63 AMG has been what looks like abandoned in the visitor parking bay near my house. Its been there for 4months now untouched. Tax and MOT have both expired, it is still insured on AskMID.

It looks in decent condition and low mileage (from the car check service) from the last MOT.

Seems such an odd car to just abandon and leave?!

Its not bothering any residents and the people who live closer to it dont seem bothered or concerned, its just odd.
It's a shame to let it go to waste.

Could be, it’s not someone who lives on this development who owns it though.

I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about getting it onto a dolly and into my garage lol

I think the common parlance is "Shooting Tigers"

This hasn't moved for at least 3 years or so now. Not entirely sure what model Alfa it is (ETA, it's a GTV), but pretty sad to let something like this just rot away.

Last MOT pass was September 2011, looks like it's been well used in its time as well. Such a pity. (170k on the clock).

Visited a site yesterday, haven’t been there since third quarter of the last year.

You’d think I’d be removed by now?! Spaces are all taken up at peak times...

I think I have seen that one back in November in the same state.
Plate drew my attention - probably worth as much as the car now?

At least 20 times more than the knackered car. Think it was mentioned in the good number plates thread that the plate is no longer assigned to that car anyway.

I haven't seen one in years! Parents had one back in the day and it was brilliant.
You just know that would start on the first key turn too.
Ah my first car, I wanted a Nova Antibes (faux SR) but this was utterly reliable until my reluctance to pay for a cambelt change caught upon me…

Volvo hasn't moved for a long time.
Seems to be SORN'd, and MoT expired, but parked on a road!

Burnley? Outside the household waste centre?

I almost took a pic of it yesterday.

That's the one. Not somewhere I'd have expected it to last as long as it has without being vandalised.

It had a plastic seat cover casually thrown on passenger seat and it's near to a garage, so possibly in for some work or a project?

These 2 have been parked up as long as I can remember

On the grass verge opposite he had a lacia delta for a long time under a cover, no idea what happened to that!
