Not 100% sure the Jag is abandoned but I have never driven past and it's been missing. It's there years but seems clean-ish

Just up the road, maybe 250 meters there is an Astra C but it's not on Google maps and another maybe 250 meters the black Alfa. Red one now gone. Must be something in the air around the area

Spotted this integera type R in the vale of Glamorgan, I’ve driven past it most days until about 2 years ago, went past last weekend and realised it’s in a sorry state now, covered in crap flat tyres and I don’t think it’s moved.

Must be fairly rare now

What a waste, a DC5 Integra, Japanese import only.

Doesn’t sound like a good combination in 1992, a petrol engine with a lack of torque and a slushmatic? Must have been hateful to drive wink

Always liked the smiley Transits too, they were good workhorses, but I wouldn’t have this one for free!

The game has moved on. The new automatic gearboxes (Merc 9G-Tronic) and petrol engines mean that it doesn’t sound that bad of a combo anymore, but holy crap that combo looked ste in 1992.
Agreed! These old MK4's in petrol format used the 2.0 SOHC pinto lump, which in a motor of this size, coupled to a very dimwitted autobox (3speed if memory is correct) literally couldn't pull you out of bed... The diesels were bad enough. But the Mk4 Pre-smileys were a very good truck. Much more dependable than my mk7!

I’ve just checked. Transits used the “Economy” variant of the TL20 low compression variant of the Pinto engine. It dated to 1969/1970.
Used all the way up to the 1994 Transit. Engine codes NAT, NAV, NAW, NAX, NBA

It produced a measly 58 hp rofl

And a 3 speeder?!!!?!!

Jesus Christ!!!!

Toyota Rav4 Soft Top, MOT check says off the road for about 5 years with over 192,000 miles.
Drive past it regularly, remember when it was road worthy with its "wide boy" body kit.
Mold in peace.

Brings back fond memories of my old one,
but the roof was a nightmare to put up & down and was stuck on with velcro.

Pair of Mazda 323F near Birmingham airport - spotted them from an airparks transfer bus so went and found them on streetview.

I saw this when staying with friends for a weekend. The yard is full of all sorts including this and various old tractors.

Lovely looking thing - shame about the bush growing through the front suspension:

Found these two tonight. I wonder if the owner wanted to know just how different 1980s black 2+2 coupes could be!

That KITT trans am firebird thingy would be a childhood dream come true for me!

It would need to be a second car though with a big garage. Admittedly, it's a bit sad to drive about in a knight rider car.

I worked at Swaythling for a while in 1976, bolting ancillaries onto the engines before they mated up with the bodies. It was a long time ago, but I only remember there being V4s and diesels. I dont remember much about the gearboxes, i just had to stick in the correct speedo drive. We got all the spec details on computer printouts -nearly 50 years ago.

Strange if the company went bump that the vans werent sold off.

L-reg vans.. good chance they have been sat there for 10 years or more maybe? Very little in the way of vandalism too which is rare.
