Came across this video of an abandoned dealership in Marsham, couple of cars and plates of interest there!

Looks like a scene from 28 Days Later!
All set up on Google Streetview in 2009, though you can see the cars are out of date for the time then and have been there a while.

Yes nuts on a thread about "Ordinary" vehicles! confused
They don't fit in either this thread or the classics left to die thread. We probably need a more generic abandoned cars thread so nobody gets upset.

I think the elderly owners passed away and it's been left like that since, seems to tie in with companies house records showing when the company was dissolved and the age of the owners etc.

This was on the driveway of the first house in the estate, and been there for at least a year and never moved.

Now new people have moved in and have wheeled this out of their drive and now on to one of the car parking spaces in the street.

Council stickered already so it won't be long until it's gone forever.

This van has been there for as long as I've been going down this road. Don't know if anyone actually lives there. (Hadleigh, Essex)

Two local to me.

No idea how long these have been sat here for but it's certainly years. There is a motorhome, a Jag X-Type, a Peugeot 106 and two Aygo's. One Aygo lives on the road and appears to move, the other abandoned. Seen the old boy out the front and I suspect he is just too old to get under these any longer. The odd thing is that they all seems to have the offside front wheel up on an axle stand confused

This Rover 216 doesn't appear to have moved from this position in years, covered in a layer of road grime.

There's an E-class mercedes near me, think it's an 04 plate, with front end damage and air bags gone off. First spotted it when we moved in 2012 and it's not been touched in that time. Looked up the mot history before and it's been off the road since it was 4 or 5 years old. Must have been worth something back then, strange that it was never repaired or written off by the insurance, unless it wasn't covered I guess.

Bought back from the insurance company to repair or break, then never got round to it?

There's this classic Range Rover that hasn't moved for a fair few months near me now. Less than a year but hasn't budged an inch. Right outside a garage too, no idea if it's waiting for repairs or what though.

Interesting, it looks like it's been washed.

This Astra, left in a hotel carpark in Liverpool near Albert Docks. Inside looks fine, outside less so. Sorry about my thumb, I was hungover after a great night out.
