She should have driven to a Police station.

Not surprised she ran away. It all turned very intimidating very quickly. Interesting how the DCW blurs out all the faces and reg numbers of everyone apart from her.
At the start, she says she thought the guy in front of them was going, and that they would too, and she's very sorry - ie, it's clear she's ttted the bike up the rear end as they've stopped (for a red light or right turn?) that she would have hammered on through.

Then, when DCW suggests everyone gets out of the live lane for safety and I guess getting the traffic moving again, she promptly does a runner. Not the easiest thing to do from 2 sport bikes! I'd be chasing her too, and on the phone to the police when she stopped again. Bashing the wing mirror not the greatest idea, but kinda understandable in the heat of the moment. Speeds quite high but open road with little traffic; DCW drops his speed a lot when she turns into the residential roads - I think rather more than her as she goes off camera almost straight away.

And by now, she "didn't do nuffink, rite?"

Yes, very dodgy blokes on the bike hit. I would say the DCW not being to total dick, having someone who is not involved in the accident, is not heading for shock and no particular emotional involvement can be very helpful, that's why he's the one who suggests moving the whole thing out of the way while the others all discuss it with the vehicles stopped in the road.

No matter how dodgy the bikers, I don't think she should be able to act like that on the roads, taking no responsibility for her own mistake, so fair play to the DCW.

Notice how the guys on the other bike have removed their rear plate since they went off in pursuit of the car

Or, it fell off due to speed/wind following getting cracked/damaged by being hit up the rear by a car...

At 3.38 the guy does appear to reach for the plate. It is blurred a bit.

Anyone else notice the injured guy, that can't put his weight on his foot, managed to push the bike out the way for the BMW coming with no issues? laugh

She owed the DCW nothing. No need to engage him at all. He wasn't a witness, a policeman or even a paramedic and did nothing to calm the situation. Butt out nosey.

The other two just needed insurance and/or contact details, no requirement to discuss the ins and outs of the alleged incident or prolong the conversation.
She did the right thing in leaving if she felt threatened and could have fulfilled her legal obligations at a police station later on that day. If they wanted their insurance company (ha - as if!) to pursue a claim they could contact the police themselves.

Yes, and at the beginning, his injured foot mysteriously swaps.

Has anybody mentioned the damage to the Audi and debris is all down the off side?

Just shows why people should have a bit of consideration for HGV's. What is the driver expected to do, either sit and wait for both sides of the carriageway to be clear on a busy main road? He'd be there for hours in some situations, the only nobs in this clip are the car drivers on the opposite side not giving way thanks to their "Got to be in front of the lorry" mentality.
It also shows what a huge percentage of people submitting footage are aggro little men causing situations.

Accelerating towards a car indicating into your lane and then getting all hot and bothered and calling a them a c#nt is just tragic. I have a dash cam but wouldn't dream of doing that, just let them in you tw&ts, they know they are in the wrong lane hence the indicator to move over so why speed up just to be a wker about it?
I had my sound off so didn't hear what they were saying, but it's plain to see the ones who accelerate into a situation, as well as those that with a little better anticipation (although nobody's perfect, we all have off moments) could have avoided the incident entirely.

Found a random Dashcam channel and came across this vid

For what purpose would you need these on a car ? (Apart from the obvious). I presume he'd be in a world of sh*t if he got caught using these ?

On a Zafira? who knows.

It used to be installed on MaxPower era modded cars though, for lads to play with at their Friday McDonalds meet ups.

Especially with the acid attacks/mopeds crimes in London. Don't know why the idiots on bikes seem so surprised she was scared.

Now the lads are all middle aged angry dads with Zafiras trying to relive their lost youth.

4.00 when it's pretty obvious what's happening why would you just let him drive into the side of your car, dashcammer is a tt
