What an idiot!! 15 years for 5 seconds of pure an utter madness & showing no signs of remorse or recognising his wrongdoing.

One observation though, is the camera mounted on top of the riders helmet?? only the bloke driving the car doesn't appear to look that* tall when he gets out the car and talks to the rider yet in his mug shot he is over 6'4

Apparently, according to one of the comments, he was charged years ago for doing the same to some kids in a golf cart.

Cyclist totally at fault. Driver commits an offence by failing to stop. Probably drunk or no insurance.

See, "discussions" on this 'ere thread can get long and turgid so I'll outline the reasons for siding with the Audi driver on this one, then remain a lurker:-

Clearly, the roundabout - as others have alluded to - is poorly designed, poorly signposted, and with shockingly bad road markings. Of course, if one is a local then it's easy to navigate, but my suspicion is that the Audi is lost. The driver is in an unfamiliar location, and either the sat-nav is wrong, the driver's written directions are confusing (or - again - wrong), or heaven forbid the driver has taken a wrong turn and...........well...........

In short, the Audi driver is lost and is presented with a shyte road design that can easily fool non-locals.
