Overlooking the fact that the focus shouldn't be taking advantage of the box area to push in to a queue, is it really that surprising that they clearly weren't expecting the bike to be there in this situation?

Or is filtering like this fair enough?
Why wouldn't you expect a biker to be filtering there?

Separate from this, Focus is changing lanes, checking a mirror or two in that event should be as automatic as breathing for anyone with a licence.

If you filter between a car and an open space then you're asking to be sideswiped.

Although, the car shouldn't be changing lanes there as it's obvious they'll have to stop in the yellow box if they do...

Wow he's put the 'Rage' into Road Rage.

Pointing at someone and saying "You're under a citizens arrest" doesn't make it so...he's got spectacular anger issues and really shouldn't be on the road as he's unable to control himself...what a fruitcake.

How the other guy didn't just spark the silly old fool out is beyond me!!!!!!

What's with the multiple revving from motorcyclists/moped riders when they have a near miss or a driver's manoeuvre annoys them? It features on loads of clips. The driver's unlikely to hear it. Is it just a frustration thing? Why don't they use their horn?

Why do so many motor/cyclists put themselves in harms way and then get indignant when muppets screw up. I fully accept that the cars and trucks should not do these stupid things but the cyclist is the one going to A&E.

Because the horn on most motorcycles sounds like a duck with asthma.

Perhaps, but revving is no different.

Yep, but if there's one thing proven in every single one of these clips it's that other road users are fking idiots.

Best you can do is try not to put yourself in their way when do what idiots do.

Which goes twice if you're a vulnerable party such as a pedestrian or biker.

Actually, yes, yes it is. It's an order of magnitude louder, even with a standard exhaust. It's the fastest and most effective way to announce
your presence to those who aren't paying attention. The horn is useless in comparison.

How so? It's usually a lot louder than the puny little horns.

You dont have to move your fingeres to reach your horn (Oo er missus) so it makes you less likely to get someone pile into you (Fnaar fnaar)
Also it can be louder,

If you did it on test the high revs with the clutch in is seen as a serious loss of control and you would fail.... but you can do what you what you want once you have a licencne. smile

To be honest, ANYTHING that is the fastest and most effective at gaining the drivers attention is OK.....shout if you want and it works best....
