TBH I really don't know what you'd be able to add beyond what the video shows, especially as you weren't in the car at the time - you know as the video shows and no more
Me neither but I have to fill in the form, which I've done and tbh it would be nice to hear her sentence (if she doesn't get off).
All this over a cracked number plate?

I was told to do it out of principle from people on here so I did. Don't go complaining at me that it's petty. rofl

And it wasn't just a cracked number plate because when I eventually got the plate holder off the bumper was damaged. All fixed now though.

Would you have driven off or left a contact number?

I'm not sure if any of you remember the clip I posted of a lady in a blue mini reversing into my parked car.

Link here: https://youtu.be/QqfzjdJ_42c

Anyway. Got a letter this morning from he MET to say they're taking her to court and she's charged with driving without due car and attention, failing to stop and failing to report.

Court is on August 31st.
Excellent news indeed, and such a compelling advert for a dashcam, especially the ones that can record on sensing the car being hit.

Damn straight! I doubt anyone would be laughing if they came back to their car to find it damaged, no matter how small.

Last time I cracked someone's plate I left my number on their windscreen and later bunged them £20 through the door.

She made the wrong call.

Have we had this? Motorbike and BMW rage.
He seems on the verge of tears or something. He has problems at home or something to get him wound up like that besides a guy in front of him on the road. Either that or something illegal in his system.

She clearly wasn't looking behind her, that or she didn't have proper control of the vehicle, well, unless she wanted to reverse into the car for fun. Either way, had there been someone walking between the two cars (won't someone think of the kids!!) then they wouldn't have come off too well. As it was, she only hit another vehicle, ignored any damage and left without reporting it. A day at Court should do the trick in making her think about her actions. I foresee some points, probably a reasonable fine and maybe £20 in compensation.
Might be worth pulling the video whilst the matter's listed for Court just in case some weasel lawyer finds something to say about it being the public arena.
You should contact the Daily Fail and sell them the story and the footage once she's sentenced, they love that kind of stuff.

Great idea! Will make the video private. Hadn't thought of that.

Excellent work on the first clip, what a plonker. ZFG or whatever he calls himself really is a total tube in his videos.

Just shows why people should have a bit of consideration for HGV's. What is the driver expected to do, either sit and wait for both sides of the carriageway to be clear on a busy main road? He'd be there for hours in some situations, the only nobs in this clip are the car drivers on the opposite side not giving way thanks to their "Got to be in front of the lorry" mentality.
It also shows what a huge percentage of people submitting footage are aggro little men causing situations.

Accelerating towards a car indicating into your lane and then getting all hot and bothered and calling a them a c#nt is just tragic. I have a dash cam but wouldn't dream of doing that, just let them in you tw&ts, they know they are in the wrong lane hence the indicator to move over so why speed up just to be a wker about it?
I had my sound off so didn't hear what they were saying, but it's plain to see the ones who accelerate into a situation, as well as those that with a little better anticipation (although nobody's perfect, we all have off moments) could have avoided the incident entirely.
Giving the benefit of the doubt, the assumption is that the person with the dashcam has seen the person indicating / swerving into their lane simply because the dashcam has recorded it. One clip in particular in the link above looked like this is what happened, at the same time you could assume the driver has accelerated in to a situation. Not necessarily.

Might have helped had the cam car not come to a halt. Seemed from the video that he had time to change lanes.
