That video is awesome. So many genuine wtaf moments, brilliant.
Agreed, enjoyed that, some of those crashes make Exposed and WelshDrive look like a game of hopscotch.

The very last clip, does that belong in the Travellers thread perhaps?

Some people do seem to be more willing to blatantly take the piss out of red lights at temporary traffic lights than at permanent traffic lights. Is it because the interval between red at one light/green at the other seems to be longer?
It's probably cos half the time they're completely unnecessary
Have you ever worked on a road? They are dangerous places mainly due to retards that can't drive, so a set of lights provides a slightly safer work area but there are still people who are too self important and ignore traffic management.
We have had people jump red lights (that were both on red so we could fell a tree across the road) and nearly get killed. Road closures are good aswell, just because the road looks clear they think that can drive down paths only to find just round the corner we have a crane blocking the road then moan because they have too turn round.
They are there for a reason, mine and your safety so don't ignore them.

Perhaps if there were no stupid ones people would respect them more. Example: road ahead closed signs coming off roundabout. OK, thanks. Then, every half mile for the next 10 miles I'm having to swing around a "road ahead closed" sign occluding half my fking carriageway. I've already worked out the slight snicket I'm going to take, I don't need to go offside in a hidden dip!
Then, I reach a 30 mph temporary speed limit in a 60 zone later on. Well guess what, I'm now fked off with you guys. 60 it is. thumbup
Oh, and the 30 speed limit on the NSL DUAL CARRIAGEWAY A35. Which nobody observed. 50 is traditional. If you set the speed limit ridiculously low, people ignore it. Then anybody observing it poses a significant hazard when everything else is doing 60.

Nice attitude, so you drive round countless road closed signs then drive at twice the temp limit because you have the hump. It's there to lessen the danger to the poor s who have to work, but your journey is obviously far more important than potentially someone's life. Well done.

Hmm. He has got point though about 'road ahead closed' signs (not 'road closed'- different meaning!)- they can be annoying when you have no idea which road (the one you are on, or a turning off it?) or how far away. Although 10 miles warning seems a bit unusual!

It was indeed - couldn't make it out on the phone screen last night - almost looked like somebody reversing!

Never understood why bikers do this.

By damaging/destroying the offside wing mirror - they are limiting the driver's visual aids and making it far more dangerous for themselves and other road users.

I guess safety is a secondary consideration to youtube hits though - huh!
No they are helping the driver by removing unnecessary weight and drag from the side of his car, it is not as if the driver uses the mirror.

The mirror was hardly destroyed, 99% plus of all mirrors fold in both directions, bike knocks it one way you push it back the other, no harm done. Unless of course you decide to ram the biker with your car.

I am sure the rider intended to gesticulate his annoyance to the car driver, but as he was so close, accidental contact was made with the mirror, happens all the time....

The point that the motorbike is a coward for riding away - only do it in heavy traffic... It works the other way the driver of the car was just as cowardly for deliberately pulling out in front of the motorcyclist, knowing full well he was protected by a tonne of metal box. He would not have been as full of himself pulling out in front of him if he was only protected by his jeans and t shirt. The difference between the biker getting annoyed and being in hospital was only seconds.

Lesson learnt here - don't deliberately try to knock motorcyclists off...

Counter:

Frightened and distracted driver hits/kills child/puppies : A child he did not see in time due to Bikers actions !

easy game if you concede the action was intended............NO ACTION should be taken by the biker in retribution, his actions could have equally catastrophic results as those of the dick head drivers could have done.

He didn't accidently pull away from the curb, all actions in the video were intentional and I am not sure what the catastrophic outcome of a mirror bent the wrong way when you don't actually use it would really be, but I do get your point.

Mirrors get clipped all the time, it doesn't warrant being rammed by a tonne of car.

You want to commute into London on a Motorbike, I am sure even the Pope would lose his rag eventually...

Can't tell from the video as can only see forward, even right up the back of the car in front he might have still been hit.

Anyway, hardly the point is it though? Not their fault either way, sub-second dawdle or not.
