Someone will be along soon to say you must have doctored that footage because cyclists never do any of those things.

To be fair it looks like a somewhat intimidating junction for a slow and/or nervous cyclist. He looked to be aiming to find the biggest gaps in the traffic regardless of the lights. Clearly not designed with cyclists in mind at all.

Still, either being faster and more assertive (and obeying the lights) or walking along the verge would have been a lot better.

did your brother stop to give details to discovery as it would help his insurance case. All that over a lane change by the discovery, yes in wrong lane, but bmw driver lost it over something so petty.

I'm not familiar with Rugby but looking at the positioning and the lane markings, I don't think the Disco was in the wrong lane. Left lane at the lights feeds into lanes 1 and 2 on the roundabout thing, the right lane at the lights feeds only into lane 3. Looks like the Disco was in the left lane and BMW in the right, however the BMW either wanted lane 2, or tried to cut across into lane 2 slightly because he's a mouthbreathing retard who is incapable or steering his vehicle around a curve while remaining in his lane, like 90% of drivers. Didn't like the fact that the Disco was already legitimately occupying that space, so decided to brake check two tonnes of Solihull's finest. Of course the flip side is that hopefully that scrappy 3 series will be written off and thus one less of the damn things on the roads.

Just to update this, the police have been in touch with my brother and have requested his dashcam footage. Looks like BMW nobber might be getting his comeuppance.

No damage to the car. I could kind of tell by the way he cushioned himself with his arm before he hit it. A bit of a WWE wrestling move.

I've recently had the car repaired due to a driver damaging it in a car park and driving off. I tracked the driver down and their insurer had recently repaired it. This was the first proper drive out and I could not be arsed with stopping and getting out. That's why I laughed.

I'm guessing he didn't get his meds from the chemist. The man who comes for him seems to be in Cohen's Chemist clothes and what looks like a pharmacist follows. He doesn't look very happy at all.
