Looking at the comments his offence was driving too slowly (but at the speed limit). Nutty old bloke lost his glasses when ranting at the guy with his head through the window...

It's one of those videos that needs the earlier footage to understand what happened.

12 weeks in jail for that suggest to me that wasn't his first offence.

The Facebook video is a bit misleading then. It did say it cost him 12 weeks jail time.

It does say later about an 18 month suspended sentence.

According to the comments he pleaded guilty in court to repeatedly punching the victim / other driver though his open window, before the filming began. I daresay he lost his glasses then, the silly old fool. With the off duty officer as a witness I imagine that was enough when you add in the resisting arrest etc? What a spanner.

ETA: Doh, I didn't notice the extra page of comments when I posted this reply. Still, my reply to the 'not the first offence' conjecture stands.
