I stand firm though. The front ends are okay, but the rears are just.....

It's the decklid area that makes it wrong for me.

Almost like they've forgotten how to do the window into the engine bay and then the surrounding area. Makes it look like it's off a different car to the rest of the rear end.

Looks like its a runner too (or sunroof left open)..

The 2.0l ate coil packs for fun - I think the V6 was a little better

A bit late, wasn't 911 HUL on the original 1975 911 Turbo press car and has been on every 911 Turbo press car ever since.

Think this is the press car?
Back in the 80's the press car wore "HDT 1"

Here's a great pic, the gold FIAT 131 in the background must be the office pool car, wearing the plate between press cars.

As a quick thread de-rail, this was Maranello Concessionaires in 1982 - Ferrari's flagship preparation and service centre. Look how rough and ready the workshop is compared to the modern operating theatre.

Sigh…those were the days. When men were men and garages were proper.

That 512 is stunning. I haven’t loved a Ferrari since that one.

Is it just me or does the non compliant numberplate detract from what is a gorgeous car?

Agree that window just looks crap to my eyes. Should have done it all in metal/carbon with some kind of step in it to make it a little more cohesive

It's either a Carrera 2 or 4. There wasn't a 4S of the 964, and it's not an RS. It has the wrong wheels, seats and parcel shelf for an RS, as well as a sunroof and rear wiper that weren't on the RS.

Strong disagree from me

Was chatting to a mate from Hereford who says MI5/6 block bought all 007 plates and have given them to sad, middle aged, comb over, podgy, inadequate, attention seeking, company director "assets" along with a free Aston so THATS WHAT WE ALL THINK hence JB can jump in similar and drive all the way to the boathouse completely incognito

Probably.....................
This deserved more credit.
