It'd be nice if people identified the supercars and rarities in their pics - I find they pretty much blur one into another these days with little to distinguish between them. I'm struggling even with the manufacturers too.
Mind you, modern model names don't help, eg Lotus, with their weirdly named Evija, Emira, Eletre and Emeya. I've got no idea what they are, apart from the Electric one.

It's probably my age....confused

Lotus have always used names beginning with E. I think they are running out having do the obvious ones like Elan, Espirit, Eclat, Elite, etc

Evija - electic hypercar with 2000bhp
Emira - successor to the Evora, 2 seat affordable (ish) sports car, priced to compete with Boxsters and Cayman, looks like a small Ferrari
Eletre - electric SUV. massive thing, very comfortable, high spec, quick
Emeya - electric saloon to compete with Porsche Taycan, very comfortable, high spec, quick

Never noticed their rear lights before. Lovely detail.
Thanks for that smile
I like the way that the exhaust exits the bumpers.
Lovely design touches everywhere.
Woah, I hadn’t noticed the exhausts! Amazing!

You forgot the Seven. E's started with the Eleven. They could have done a Jim Clark tribute car and called it the Ecosse......

I forgot the Evora; it all went downhill from the Exige onwards. (IMHO obviously as I'm an old codger - but still with a rebellious streak)

Valkyrie went the opposite way to me yesterday, has some road presence!

Was near C&M the Hill, I've looked at their "spotted" thread but no photos.

Seven and Eleven were just the sequential type numbers. The first that was specifically named was the Elite (type 14).

They were indeed the type numbers, but were actually given names rather than the roman numerals which had been used previously. I got shot down in flames in an earlier thread for referring to the Lotus XI. eek

There were also lots of Astons, but in this company there are utterly anonymous. I saw several McLarens, a Packard (which was glorious) and a couple of other Ferraris. It is the first Carrera GT I have ever seen and it was every bit as magnificent as I’d hoped.

Apologies for the quality of photos but these were all in a paddock we walked by; and had no access too.
I knew that GTO was one I’d seen before. At the Ferrari at 70 exhibition at The Design Museum in 2018.

Word is Uwe's demise was due to the disgraceful crimes he committed to the CGT. Shocking car IMO, waste of a CGT.

Another Porsche money making scam. Paint to Sample. Theoretically you can choose whatever colour you want, but Porsche has to approve it. So 99.9 times out of 100 they are usually just factory colours Porsche charges more for.

Lotus and Aston Martin should get together to build EVs.

That went down well.

I liked it.

Possibly a bit too esoteric.

The penny will drop. You wait.

I'm all agog.

These days that is more likely to ignite another fifty page thread about why EV’s are the worse thing on earth than raise a little knowing smile.
