Funnily enough there's one near where I live (as well as an immaculate Saab 900 Turbo convertible and strangely a Rover 800 for that full on 90's experience!).

Cool car. At uni, I was pals with this Finnish guy. On the cricket team together and aside from the fact I don’t realise anyone from the Nordics was much into cricket, he was easily the best batsman I played with. Not remotely athletic, lazy to the eye and completely nonchalant in all his shots.

Anyway, he always used to pick me up in his car - a MKii Golf G60 Rallye. The supercharged, 4wd rarity, boxed arches. Cult car. I think his dad was a used dealer in Helsinki or something and he’d driven it all the way to the UK. Anyway, one week he’s beeping the horn and I look out and don’t see the normal car. I come out and he’s in a fairly fresh Corrado Storm!

His Rallye had been stolen when parked up in Ladbroke Grove and do his dad wired him some money to buy a car he (the dad) wanted him to get hold of for his collection and take back to Helsinki when term ended. Lucky bd I thought. Some of us just get by on baked beans and bread at Uni! He used to rag both of those cars, and looking back it was a carefree time. They can’t be many Storms left in the U.K., I’m guessing. Especially if some have gone abroad...

On a sour note, we both had a horrid moment. A few of us went out on the lash one night. It was going to be easier to sleep over at his student house as one of the girls was out. They shared with another guy, who we thought was probably out when we turned up at the house. He wasn’t - we found the poor sod in his room. Dead, choked on his own vomit. frown

NA2 (facelift) NSX-R.
If I was Honda I would be suing the plastic surgeon for that facelift. They turned a pretty car into a gopping munter.
Marmite, for sure, but it reduced the weight (right) over the nose.

Butter Face - where's that? Looks like a pair of R33s and an FC-series 'rex there too (as well as a DC5).
It’s at Eurospec in Guildford. They have lots there, FD, FC, R33 GTR, lots of GTOs, 3000GTs, evos etc.

They did some mapping on my EP3 while I dribbled over the NSX and they also let me take out their time attack FK2 into town too!
You beat me to it.

Mark and Ben used to look after my FTO’s and my Impreza.
Did you ever visit their previous premises?
Huge place with about a hundred cars in various stages of tune.
Their 925hp RB5 was a serious car.

Wild camping the NC500 walk up to the road this morning from the campsite just in time to see a Mclaren Senna drive past in a reddish orange and on what I think was a McLaren owned plate

It's a bit of a dog's dinner.

I think you'd need to be a particular kind of person to drive one of those and to think people weren't pointing and laughing.

Are all these latest McSenna sightings now customer cars, or are they still prototype/press cars?

Apart from the one UK car, the rest are all McLaren owned cars...

Ah well now that's interesting - I saw two of these in convoy this morning, accompanied by a P1 and two "cooking" 640s. Had to do a complete double-take, never seen them before and didn't know what they were until I caught them at some lights.

The P15s still had the "VP-731 P15" stickers down the side, so possibly not customer cars? This was by J4 of the M20 in Kent. Wonder where they were all off to?

Great photo and the green looks lovely. What the photo fails to accurately capture is that car has chrome wheels... chrome I tell you, bloody chrome!!!

(I have an aversion to chrome, especially on track themed cars)

Not super but got to be rare, I can't remember the last time I saw one.
Strangely, I wouldn't mind owning one.
