I wonder if its a replica? You don't see many of them out on the roads and I would expect in that condition if it had good history and was matching numbers to be worth well north of £500k maybe as much as twice that?
My guess is repatriated in 2014 and restored.NDA said:

I was staying in Beverly Hills and there are Dawns, Cullinans, Bentagya and Urus everywhere. But less classics than I thought there might be.
Are classic (vintage) cars easy to own in California? I have no idea other than their eco laws are pretty strong....But I somehow expected there to be more classics about.

It's one of the Speed 8 cars built by Racing Green. It's a postwar chassis with a Rolls Royce B80 military engine and a replica Le Mans-style body.
The engine capacity of 5675 cc confirms this. Mark-r0xn8 said:

A few from a recent visit to LA...
Great spots Andy. How was LA for cars compared to Tokyo? I'm heading there in a week or so and looking forward to seeing some interesting stuff as it was this time last year I was Tokyo, the last big place I've visited for cars.
www.supercarsunday.com always worth a visit, nice mix of cars and amazing canyons to drive through afterwards. http://www.malibucarsandcoffee.com A smaller meet but a decent bunch of petrolheads and some very interesting kit turns up. If you can get out to Newcombe Ranch up on Angeles Crest there will be various groups pulling in for breakfast/lunch alongside the bikers.
Perfect weather, amazing roads, genuine enthusiasts EVERYWHERE. Tough to beat.
Cheating a little, as A) may or may not be a supercar (although I'd say it is) and B) it's what an old friend has just bought. An AMG GTC. He came over last night, and I took this photo at the pub down the road from me. Went out in it for a 10 minute hoon, and bloody hell, it was savage! Made all the more scary that the roads were wet, and he was pressing on. Oh, and WHAT a noise
