Had to pop into Avantgarde in Clevedon to check something on my SLK.

Then I spotted this through the work Shop window...

So British exhibition?
Why not ?

The Belgian motor industry isn't up to much nowadays

First time I went to Autoworld was for "Italian passion".

Don't need 3 guessses for what the theme was.

I was more thinking that it was an odd theme for an exhibition in the home town of the EU on the eve of Brexit, that’s all.

The owner of "Avantgarde" previously worked for McLaren Automotive on the SLR project. So if anyone knows these cars...

What is the worldwide obsession with coloured brake callipers?

Have I missed the fantastic beauty of these brake clamps that mean they have to be picked out in contrasting colours by all from kids with Halfords vouchers to Supercar/F1 Constructors?

Saw that car, or one in the same colour, on the A4 going through Hammersmith recently.

UInlike others, I think it looks awesome in the carbon (the dark colour helps).

Exactly - it’s been going in for ages.
Doesn’t explain why it happens though.
