Not especially, just that he's owned it a long time and is well known in historic racing circles for using it properly. A significant number of these cars have been in long-term ownership and the cars' identities are often closely associated with their owners.
As for who he is, Sir Paul Vestey, 3rd Baronet of Shirley, whose family founded the Blue Star Line shipping company, and whose family business group formerly owned such well-known brands as Dewhurst the Butchers and Oxo, as well as the Oxo Tower in London.

Good on him for actually driving the thing. Some people buy a classic Ferrari and then wrap it in cotton wool and stick it in the heated garage for 5 years hoping for the value to soar so they can flog it again.
