sounds like the dealer principal is using the sales line to run fancy cars. I bet he's not declaring it to the tax man either!
Thats a whole lot of presuming.

Everyone should own at least one car fitted with a seatbelt butler.

It’s probably a bad sign that out of all the pictures you posted, that SVR attracts my attention the most. Love the gold wheels with that blue paintwork!

listen mate, that car is probably worth the rest of the sales stock combined, and as the OP said - it is very unusual to spot a car like that in a place like that, it is not part of the core market that a peugeot garage would target. So it is there, taking up space and not having much profile as supercar buyers probably wouldn't just be passing through, so also taking up money and not selling. Sales managers are measured on turnover of stock, and of course sales. Unless it has been borrowed for free to sit there looking pretty, it is a really bad financial idea for a garage like that to have a car like that on its books. So, someone is getting some benefit somewhere. It is of course in the DP's gift to decide to trash the sales figures in order to run a nice car... i know DPs who have done exactly that.

Rarely see a V12 750 out and about. Looked magnificent.

And an immaculate 500SL

I remember Autobahn hitch-hiking in Germany in about 1992 and a 750iL picked us up. The driver took it up to the limted 155mph max. It’s still the fastest I’ve ever been in a car.

The Focus has around 900 miles on the clock and still has the original plastic coverings on the seats and door cards. The M3 CSL has done less than 10k miles.

Agree. I can’t take my eyes off them. Maybe it’s to take attention away from the woeful parking?

Not sure what is sadder - that the cars have only covered such paltry mileage? Or that they would be covetted enough by another sad owner who must be planning to do the same archiving and non-use.

Having had the bad idea to buy from them a vintage Porsche, I warmly recommend to stay as far away from them as you can

I thought they were more reputable than most auction houses.

Most never even get driven. They just buy it, stick it in a showroom or lockup and bring it out in 2-3 years time to put into another auction and make £20k

I’ve seen a meme, something along the lines “Not driving your Vette to keeps the miles low, is like not banging your girlfriend to keep it tight for the next guy”

I cannot talk about others since I never used them. All I can say is that the “fully restored” car caught fire within one mile of leaving their premises (it was conveniently displayed indoor at last year’s Silverstone Classic event) and had a lot of hidden rust. At the specialist (took 6 months and £££ to make it roadworthy again), there was another car from Silverstone Auctions there that had the floor fall off. Again, another “fully restored” car...
